Bosniak classification type 1 renal cysts (type 1 renal cyst) are very frequent and do not warrant follow-up or specific treatment. Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit (eat whole fruit not juice), a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Drink lot of water.10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gym etc. For more details, you can consult me.

In CT IVP there is no radio dense calculus is seen. 15.2×14. 6 mm sized cortical cyst is seen in the mid pole of kidney. Both adrenal glands are normal. Both kidney are normal size, shape and architecture. They show normal contrast uptake and excretion. The cortical medullary pattern appears normal. No evidence of hydronephrosis. Peri renal spaces and pera renal fascias appear normal. No radio dense calculus is seen. Both ureters are normal in course, calibre and wall thickness. IMPRESSION: *Left simple cortical renal cyst. *Right? Partial PUJ Obstruction/extra renal pelvis (more likely, a normal variant) *Mild splenomegaly. *Faecal loaded colon. Please advice me this CT IVP report tells normal or not. Right now my health is good. I have no any medical problem. This test is required only for medical fitness test.

Hello dear lybrate-user, Warm welcome to Lybrate.com I have evaluated your query in details.* CT IVP is more reliable test than USG report. Your report is almost normal, so do not panic for USG report which seems incorrect. Still continue to drink plenty of liquids without any problem also. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine health ahead. Feel free to ask any further doubts. Regards.

Mr. M lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. Most of the parameters mentioned look good or normal. However, following are my comments: 1) Blood glucose levels are suggestive of pre-diabetic state. Which a signal to adapt a modified lifestyle, so as to be able to prevent progression to diabetes. 2) Cholesterol is slightly high, exercise and diet control can help in improving the situation. 3) Presence of a cyst in liver also in kidney need to be followed up with your physician. It may not cause any problem right away, but follow the doctor's advise. 4) Heart function seems to be fine, nothing to worry. Thanks.
