This usually happens between six and nine weeks of pregnancy, ultrasound doctor will measure your baby from her head to bum. This is called the crown-rump length (CRL), and it will be used to work out your due date. Anomaly scan (ultrasound level II). This scan between 18 and 20 weeks. Ultrasound will check your baby's head circumference (HC), abdominal circumference (AC) and thigh bone (femur) length (FL). In the third trimester growth scan or fetal wellbeing scan between 28 and 32 weeks. Colour doppler studies between 36 and 40 weeks. These scans will show how your baby is growing.

At 36 weeks , single loop of cord around the neck on ultrasound is a normal feature. It is only at the time of labour that it becomes significant--- if it doesnot allow the head of the baby to come down during normal delivery or it gets compressed leading to fetal heart irregularities. So, as of now , all is well. Don't worry at all as long as you can feel your baby movements and your B.P. is normal.All the best.

Hi sonakshi, as you are 34 weeks usually Doppler study of umbilical artery is 3.5 at dt particular gestational age and at 38weeks it will decrease to 2.5. So your Doppler study is normal . Don't worry .

The baby's heart starts to beat at around 6 weeks. You may be able to hear – and see – your baby's heart beat for the first time when you're about 8 weeks pregnant if you have an early ultrasound exam. Otherwise, you'll probably first hear it with a fetal Doppler at a regular prenatal care visit.

Hi lybrate user, don't worry ask her to keep watch on fetal movements.. No medicine will help her at this stage. She should deliver early in 2-3days. Get a color Doppler done to see fetal well being.

Fetal heart sound can be heard around 10-12 weeks by fetal doppler. You can be able to know about it as early as 8 weeks through fetal ultrasound.

Nothing to worry, continue with medicines, ultrasound reports show cervix, the mouth of uterus is about 3 cm open. If it's a first baby, it's a good sign at 37 weeks, means mouth has started to open and soon you will be having labour pains and baby delivered at 37 weeks plus is not premature, weight is about 3 kg, head is in lower side with placenta up and not blocking the passage of baby. Reports favor you to have a normal delivery. Go to labour room with a relaxed mind, don't count the movement of baby about babies in womb do need to rest for about 20 hours plus unless you have taken some cough syrups, they can cause sedation in baby too. Do share the good news with all of us here. Be careful if it's a second baby, mouth of uterus is opening up and go to hospital as soon as possible, when labour pains start as compared to 1st normal delivery second delivery takes lesser time.
