Seems that you might have an allergy to povidone iodine solution i.e betadine. That can be confirmed by doing a patch test. Always use betadine with adequate quantity 10 ml and mixed it with warm water of same amount after proper consultation with your doctor. Dear Lybrate user pls check if you have plaque or any abnormal deposits in your teeth. Because in that case scaling is required. Stress, smoking, hormonal imbalance, improper oral hygiene, improper diet have negative impacts on gingival health for home care I advice you brushing twice daily. Donot use vigorous and horizontol strokes for brushing. 3 mins of brushing is sufficient. There are numerous techniques for brushing you can learn the one most suitable for you from some nearby dentist or you can text me for the same use 0.2% chlorhexidine mouth wash to rinse your oral cavity for 15 days warm salt water rinses 3-4 times daily include vit c rich food like citrus fruits aamla kiwi etc, salad ,green leafy vegetables.

Hello you need to get scaling done by a dentist. Its a simple cleaning process which your dentist will perform to remove calculus, plaque and stains. So, get that done. If there is no pain, it is probably due to the use of budecort. You can check with the doctor who had prescribed it as to whether they can provide an alternative. It should not be an issue if it is not growing rapidly and is devoid of pain.

There are some studies, according to which betadine mouthwash can be effective in limiting the spread of sars cov 2. But if you are allergic to iodine solution then don't use it. Warm saline mouthwash 3/4 times daily you can use. Thanks.

Bad breath is one of the most common symptoms of tonsils stones. If the size of the stones is small and is not causing any problems then it can be kept that way. But if it is causing problems like frequent tonsillitis and pain then it needs to be surgically removed. Till then gargle with luke warm water frequently ,it will help woth the infection and removing the stones (if small) and use a chlorhexidine mouth wash and tongue cleaner for bad breath.
