Dear Mr. lybrate-user, asthalin (salbutamol) is not a very good drug for long term asthma management due to 1. It has a short duration of action 2. It cannot prevent asthma attacks 3. It can be dangerous for heart (in an unsupervised use, for long period) fortunately there are better, safer drugs to control asthma.
