For my mother's (58+ yrs) recent fall of Hb (11.7 -> 10.6 in 6-months, our doctor has advised test for 'OPC & Occult blood in stool As per physical examination, he did not any serious issue except some amount of colitis. 1) Does her daily multivitamin (Ecod Plus) should be stopped before the stool test? 2) Is there a possibility for the colitis to bleed & cause mild anemia?

Please No need to do occult blood in stools test It is common to have anemia in this age Give her Lohasav 15 ml twice daily with water for 3 mths Tab osteon D by sandu pharma 1..1 for 3 mths minimum Can stop multivitamin.
