Last 2/3 months it is observed that I am missing my periods. I am having my period late by 15/20/25 days. What can be the probable cause. Moreover I used to take ipill once in every month for last 8/10 months. Can it be the cause for my delayed periods?

Taking pills can be the cause of delayed periods. These pills leads to change in hormonal balance of the body and cause problems. The most common problems are weight gain, PCOD, etc. All these leads to delayed periods.

I-PILL can cause irregular periods if taken frequently. The commonest cause of irregular periods is PCOS. Best is to get a Pelvic USG done and a hormonal assay and consider low dose oral contraceptive pills that will help in regularising periods as well as prevent any unwanted pregnancy.
