Hello, My father is heavy drinker/ alcoholic since very long i.e for many years. Kindly provide some solutions or medicines how to stop it, as now it is very problematic for my family as he is not going to job, only stay at home and drink heavy since morning to night. I have searched on net medicines for it, Antabuse, naltrexone, campral. But I need some help from your side, what should we do? Kindly assist.

Look for a quit buddy who wants to stop drinking as well. you can help each other get through the rough times. A- Anticipate and plan for the challenges you'll face while quitting R- Remove Bottles & other products from your home, car and work T- Talk to your doctor about getting help to quit: your doctor can prescribe medication to help with withdrawal.
