Do not panic. Tie two tourniquet (cloth, stolle, long handkerchief, rope) just above the place of bite by placing an index finger and tying very tight over it, then after tying very tight withdraw your finger from under the cloth/rope. This will cause the blood to stop going up the arms or feet or leg and slightly obstruct blood coming down too. A similar cloth is tied 2-3 inches above the first one. After half an hour one tie is opened but the other is kept tight and then one is tied again and the unopened one is opened in rotation till you reach hospital. This is done to avoid total blood stoppage to limb. Person should not walk or move as this causes to the venom to travel faster up your system. Call for help and transport in vehicle to the nearest hospital where anti-snake venom and ventilator facility is available. Do not go to quacks. Some snake bites are non poisonous. Doctor will observe and treat accordingly.
