There is a sense of anxiety that is gripping me for a past week. The source of it is sheer happiness. What shall I do to calm myself down?

Hi it may not be anxiety, but an excitement / euphoria which you have not experienced till now. Do not try to control if just experience and enjoy it. If you feel that it is affecting your functional abilities or if there are complaints that it is becoming a disturbance to others, get in touch with a clinical psychologist to confirm whether its normal happiness or the initial stage of mania/ hypomania.
