There is a wound under my mom's armpit for last 1 week. It has hardened and doesn't have any pus in it and also not getting pressed by hands or other simple means. If it could be pressed easily, an opening could have been made so as to apply some ointment to heal it. Please direct what kind of problem is that and how it could be treated in home.
