Hello lybrate-user, I can imagine you are in a tricky position, almost sandwiched between wife and parents. It is best to defer this decision as much as possible. Do not show eagerness to come to a conclusion to your wife. Just try to pacify her everytime she raises a complain, talk to your father if you feel some thing about your mother's behavior is troubling your wife, so that he can suggest some changes to your mother indirectly and keep your wife happy by taking her out over the weekends, buying her what she likes occassionally and taking her and your kid (s) out for a holiday once in 6 months. If your wife is interested in some hobbies or if she can work somewhere encourage her to do that. Appreciate all her efforts and achievements. You will notice after some time she will not be thinking about it so strongly. Good luck.
