In centre of my spine some swelling has suddenly started which is making me unable to lie down conveniently. I have been to doctor for this & after taking so many medicines I got no relief. Tell me what to do?

Hello lybrate user, from the symptoms you are describing, the most probable diagnosis would be an infection. Tuberculosis is the most common infection in our country. Weight loss, fever along with it would support the diagnosis of an infection. I would suggest you to consult an orthopaedic surgeon as urgently as possible. It could probably be treated be medicines alone in the early stages. Later stages of destruction require might require surgery. There is no reason for panic but consult an orthopedic surgeon urgently and get x rays done and an mri of necessary.
