My father works at a very far place and travel 150 km (app.) For that daily (up and down). Whenever he reach home at night, the moment he untie and remove his shoes and socks, it smells like hell at home. We have to spray room freshener to get rid of that smell. Any idea what could be the possible reason for that and how the smell can be reduced or remove completely (if possible)? Also he is diabetic but this smell problem is as much old like 3-4 years and he became diabetic last year. So no connection with that (I guess).
