Hello lybrate user, conjunctivitis and iridocyclitis are two different pathological entities. Infective conjunctivitis can spread to the other eye under improper hygienic conditions and due to fomites. Whereas iridocyclitis is inflammation of the anterior uveal tissues that is the iris and ciliary body. This can be unilateral or bilateral depending upon the cause. But it is not contagious like an infective condition.
