Dear sir/madam I got bitten by a dog in 3rd of may if the dog remains fine at the end of the 10 th day of the bite, will I remain safe, please sir/mam I am very tensed right now help me the dog is fine and I took the vaccine in february of this year. Is it a problem for me.

As per the information provided by you if the dog that has bitten you is fine after 5-10 days and if you have taken the full course of arv in february then you can consider yourself safe. But please note that you must take 3-5 doses of arv in a span of 1 month and after which only antibodies will start developing after 15 days of full course. And later you may need to take booster every 6-12 month as suggested by your treating physician. Hence I assure you that you are safe provided you had taken the full course of arv in february and advicing you to consult a registered medical practitioner for assessment of current injury and need for a booster dose I hope you fast recovery and please feel free to contact if still need further assistance.
