There are different causes of chest pain. Cardiac chest pain or angina is squeezing type of heaviness which appears on working hard and goes away on resting. Gastritis is burning type of pain related to meals. There are other causes of chest pain like muscular pain also. It is best if you get yourself evaluated properly by a cardiologist. Some tests like treadmill test can help differentiate cardiac chest pain from noncardiac chest pain.
