Inhalers are best for asthma containing inhaled steroids and bronchodilators medicines. They can produce local side effects such as oral ulcers, hoarseness of voice and some side effects due to long term use in high doses such as weakening of bones, vision problems in eyes and rarely increased cholesterol, blood pressure etc. But good thing is these side effects occur in only few patients if the medicines are taken under guidance of a doctor properly.
