My father 62 years old, get chest pain sometimes, it's like dragging pain. Relieved by ranitidine or antispasmodics. But after some days again got chest pain. What's the probable cause?

There are different causes of chest pain like cornary artery disease, in which case it is called angina, acid peptic disease, in which case it is called heart burn, atypical chest etc. A proper history physical examination followed by some test can differentiate the causes. For that I recommend you consult a cardiologist or a physician.
