My mom age is 44 years old. Her x-ray report shows that" there is evidence of oestophytes seen at acromion process of clavicle. Early osteoarthritis of right acromio-clavicular joint" please help me out what is this? how can it be treated?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. It is arthrosis of acromio-clavicualar joint which is common in some patients. I can advise you physical therapy, short course of anti-inflammatory medications which is usually enough, if not an injection can be given at inflammed site. If problem persists then you let me know, and can also send me the x rays so that I can see the grade of arthrosis and advise you accordingly.
