1. The initial symptoms are similar to flu like fever, headache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite feeling unwell, anxiety which lasts for 2-10 days. 2. After the initial symptoms, severe symptoms starts like
a) aggressive behaviour, auditory/visual hallucination
b) anxiety, insomnia confusion, agitation
c) increased salivation, seizure, d) mild or partial paralysis, difficulty in swallowing,
e) fear of water (hydrophobia).
F) death occurs in few days due to respiratory failure.
