I am a 21 years old male, uncircumcised, who has had balanitis/balanoposthitis for years, I had phimosis as a young teen but I took care of it and it is no longer an issue, I've tried treating it with home methods (it has helped tone it down a bit and provide temporary relief but it keeps coming back) for years before going in for a doctors appointment, the doctor said it was balanoposthitis and gave me a prescription for a cream that was supposed to take care of any balanitis related problems. I used it for 10 days, and while it helped a bit, after 10 days the problem still remained, I went in for a std/overall urinary test as well as a swab test, everything came back negative, the bacterial levels were normal, fungal levels were normal, the only thing that was different is that there was higher than normal blood levels detected in the urine which the doctor ignored for some reason. He basically told me that there is nothing wrong with me and I should relax, but I have all the symptoms of balanoposthitis and I have no idea what to do now, thanks.
