My niece aged 20 years has been suffering from thalassemia since birth. She undergoes dialysis regularly. Now doctors have told that she is having thalassemia major with heart damage and anaemia. They have also told an option of bone marrow transplant at a good hospital but with a risk of ineffective transplant. Undecided, we have brought the patient to home. Please advice if her life can be saved keeping aside the money matters.
