My wife had pills to delay her periods, coz, our marriage date coincided with her regular period. We are planning for baby. It's been 1 month and now she's having her period. We both are disappointed. Does the pills used to delay periods may delay in conceiving.

No it is delay of only that cycle when used. Pregnancy can occur only one day of the cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by gynecologist or infertility specialist.
