Sevista can cause periods to stop but they will resume once you discontinue the medication. It is given for fibroadenosis of breasts for 3 months. I am not sure if you have the condition or not or why it was prescribed but if you are having relief in your breast pain, then continue the medication.

Sevista is also a contraceptive. It can delay periods or stop it for some time. If it has eased your pain and your family is complete, then there is no harm in taking it. If your family is not complete, then try another treatment modality.
