Hi, My father in-law has leg elephantiasis. Is it a heredity transmission disease, if yes is there any cure for it. Please suggest.

Its not hereditary. Its caused by a type of parasite infection called filariasis. There are medicines to treat infection and surgery to correct the swelling

Dear lybrate-user, elephantiasis is caused by mosquito bite, it is not heredity transmission, it is spread from person to person by mosquito bite.
