Hi! i'm a 22 year old male. I've been having a problem with a persistent anal fissure. It's been more than 6 months, and it reopened up again this morning. Last june, I had anal intercourse and there was a lot of blood. It did heal up by august, and I was able to resume, but in september, I went for a bowel movement and felt a tearing in my anus. Since september, it always came back either through the sex I had or a bowel movement. I tried everything. I also tried remaining abstinent since the 1st of january and haven't had any sex since. Over the months, i've tried anusol +, anusol hc, and diltiazem creams in that area to no avail. What should I do?
