My scrotum burns and is reddish. My doctor thinks that its fungal infection and has given me zulivon and sophinox. However I have had this problem before and was treated with betamil. So, I decided to have betamil and fexofenadine before sleep and had a great sleep at night. It has since stopped burning. Should I continue this treatment.

You should trust only a dermatologist when it comes to skin problems. Gps and other doctor don't have a clue what they are doing. All they give is steroid cream which gives symptomatic relief but doesn't cure the disease. That's why you are repeatedly getting same issues. Steroid creams like betanil are harmful when used for long time. Do not self medicate or listen to non specialist doctors. Visit a dermatologist.
