I had dark patches on my forehead and cheeks and both sides of nose since 2010. It was diagnosed as pigmentation and since then I am using melalite cream and elocon cream daily in the night on the effected area. It is not effective lately. Recently I consulted a dermatologist who advised to stop creams and suggested a aha glow facewash, kojivit, glyco 12, cetaphil moisturizer. Started using since lat 3 weeks, but not much results. Dark patch is very intensified. Advise further treatment.

You have damaged your skin by using elocon which should not be used for pigmentation. The treatment suggested by dermatologist is right but it will take long time 3-4 months to see results. Continue using it.
