Having a penile curvature (or peyrhonies disease) is not good. You can seriously "break" your penis if it has a bend during sexual intercourse! *OUCH*

It's caused by scarring of the corpora cavernosa (the cartileginous material that fills with blood to make your penis hard). The scarring pinches your erection causing it to bend to one side. It is cause by masturbation, awkward sex, and sleeping on your stomach (you sleep on your stomach get a hard on and your body weight crushes your penis causing scarring). It will get worse if you don't do anything about it.

Apart from it, it does not affect any functions of the body.
