Is there any difference to the beta hcg results if the sensitivity of lab changes? For ex. A lab uses the reference as 5 and some labs as 25 for positive test results. So if I checked from both of the labs, is there any change will be there to the results? From the lab which uses reference as 25, I got a value 950. After 48 hrs, I have checked from another lab which uses the reference as 5. The result is 800. So is it wrong or should I multiply it with 5.
