My daughter is suffering from muscles weakness and muscular dystrophy. Her MRI is normal but she able to sit but not able to walk and talk. She only buffering and shouting. She do Physiotherapy daily but progress is very less. I want to improve her. How please help?

Muscle dystrophy is a condition in which progressive weakness develops. Unfortunately no effective medicine available till now in modern medicine. Few centres are trying stem cell and gene therapy but all are under research process. Before saying it is dystrophy other causes of progressive muscle weakness like metabolic, and inflammatory muscle disease must be rule out. Because these conditions are treatable. Visit a neurologist and rheumatologist for proper evaluation.

In muscle dystrophy cases the improvement is very slow just continue the physiotherapy .
