Hello- Often, most men will find that when they keep the torn Frenulum area clean, use an over the counter cream, and ensure that they do not get any irritation from their partners when having sex or masturbating, the tear will begin healing on its own. Once it has healed, the man can comfortably go back to having an active sex life, without experiencing any discomfort, pain or a recurrence. If you experience significant pain, or a big tear, or a cut that does not seem to heal properly or have any concerns about the tear, you should make plans to check in with your sexologist.
