Dear Lybrate user it will be better you meet some clinical Or rehabilitation psychologists for help, because this requires loads of sessions and processes. No one can prescribe you medicine like that, unless you meet the Doctor or Psychiatric in person. All the best.

Without wasting time do take the person to a doctor and to a counselor for diagnosis and treatment immediately. You must make sure that the person cooperates because many times they do not believe that there is something wrong and would love to quit the medication. Complying with all the medical prescriptions and working in tandem with a counselor for a long time and learning coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges the person will face is very important. There are certain adaptations that will suit him during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime, he can do certain things that will give him benefits anyway. Emotional therapy will alleviate a lot of the problems faced in this condition because it is a mood disorder. He needs to particularly look at his levels of anger both for its reasonableness and to express it in an appropriate manner. I suspect that much of this anger may have origins in early childhood that he may never be aware of it now. Let him talk to his parents and explore that angle. This information will help the counselor too. Also, he will need to check whether there is any genetic factor involved. He must exercise regularly, eat healthily and sleep normally too. If his motivation and cooperation are good much can be achieved. He must have a time-structured schedule filled with interesting and reasonable activities and it must be monitored for compliance and delivery. The reason I say this is that many times he will be inclined to have grandiose notions and confidently believe that he can do without the medication. This will set him back many months in the treatment and delay and sabotage the recovery: forewarned he is forearmed. If this combination of medication with therapy is maintained for at least three years without any episodes or breakdowns, it is possible to taper the medication in consonance with the doctor. Bipolar is characterized by two extreme poles i.e. feeling very high (mania) and suddenly feeling very low (depression). You can ask the doctor for the symptoms he noticed in him for a personal understanding.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Poor nutrition can lead to deficiency and consequently lack of energy, stamina and concentration. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: Eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals.Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Dear lybrate user, welcome to lybrate. Being alone will always give you feelings as you are experiencing now. The duty of your mind is to think. You cannot control your mind's thinking. Once you just leave your mind without diversion, it always end up in negative territory. But certainly you can divert your thinking. You can make your mind to be always positive by engaging in creative activities, hobbies, games and passionate towards whatever you do. Thereby you can reduce your stress and tension also. Once you can do this, loss of proper sleep and stress also can be made normal. Take care.

You have already undergone bypass surgery and on regular drugs for prevention of further blocks. They are done so that you can live independently. Your cardiologist might have counselled you about vigorous physical activities or restrictions. Children may not be able to do much for your emotional loneliness, even if they live with you. You seem to be computer literate. Get into some group online who have undergone similar surgery and undergoing treatment like you. They will be able to motivate you and even consolel you about headache and chest pain. Consult your cardiologist again with these symptoms, either she/he may prescribe an anxiolytic or antidepressant or refer you to a psychiatrist.

hello Rohit.... please follow these steps.................... Hey there, I used to have this too, trembling, sweating, and feeling so bad that my social life sucks. First of all, it’s really good that you notice it’s your fear of being judged. Here’s what you can do to counter this: Positivity challenge Instead of thinking ‘what’s she going to think of me’, re-frame it to ‘what if I do something cool’ ‘what if I get a good response’, and do this over and over again. The purpose is to retrain your mind, and yes, this is possible. win-win Our concern is always ‘how do I look’ ‘will i sound stupid’ etc, but what’s important is the ‘fun’ and the ‘value’ for everyone. So it’s not about you, whenever you feel judged, you’re making it about you which is selfish, once you’re more concerned about the fun as a group, you’ll stop being defensive and you’ll start to have fun too. expression is king The best thing for your life is when you express yourself freely, be yourself, do what you love, etc. So success is when you express yourself, not the response you get. Imagine yourself without fear, without thinking about what other people think, like talking to your very best friend, how would you be? build social calibration (specific to you) The final phase would be when you start to be the best social self you can be. thank u and best of luck

Dear Roshan. The duty of your mind is to think. If you allow your mind to think without control, it will uncontrollably think and often wander into negative territory. The best option is to be creative and busy. Engage yourself in creative activities and sports. Along with that, learn to talk and think positive. Please consult a psychologist online for counseling, advice and therapy. Take care,

I can't remember some things more than one day so what to do what are the precautions.

Hi, Take homoeopathic medicine for increasing memory - Anacardium 200/ once daily. Management: -Meditate for at least 15 to 30 minutes each day physically changes your brain, making you less anxious, and more rational and empathetic. -Besides increasing your physical strength and flexibility, yoga changes your brain. Research suggests that in addition to reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, yoga protects the brain from shrinking with age. -Exercise daily as it would can help offset the cognitive decline brought on by aging and increasingly sedentary lifestyles. -Get enough sleep. On average, adults need between 7.5 and 9 hours of sleep each night. When you aren’t getting enough sleep, it affects your brain’s ability to do this, and your memory suffers. -Spend time with people whose company you enjoy, and who make you feel like the best version of you. -laughter can improve short-term memory in older adults. -Cutting down on your use of technology (i.e. Sitting in front of your computer, phone, or tablet) for even 30 minutes can improve your brain health and help you think more deeply.

It is natural to feel low and miss the person you have lost. However if it is interfering with your sleep, studies or general well being, or if you feel suicidal, you need to consult a psychiatrist. It is common to feel low, cry, feel like you are alone, or lose your self confidence. Usually time is the best healer. However if things are too difficult to handle you should talk to a psychiatrist or counselor. Confide in someone close to you, who will support you in this difficult time. Don't cut off from friends or family, even if you feel like you want to be alone.
