Whenever we try to talk to him, he aint ready to listen and ignore. He is not even ready for body check ups.

Due to severe chronic anxiety, my weight is reduced a lot. My bmi is 17.3 so obviously I'm underweight. Is it harmful for health. Can it cause heart problem and cancer? If you tell me definitely I will get rid of it. Unnecessarily my mind forces me to reduce my weight still for prevention of heart attack by anxiety and stress and confusion since hearing the news that my Friend's father died of heart attack a few weeks ago. And I follow like a fool what my mind says. Please tell me the details in a clear manner. Is chronic anxiety harmful for health?

Dear You seem to be having disease phobia in addition to chronic anxiety. You need talk therapy in addition to sertraline and clonazepam. You friend's father had other factors causing heart attack, like age, may be smoking, diabetes or blood pressure or lack of exercise or family history of heart attacks. I don't know whether you have any of them except chronic anxiety Cutting down on eating and loss of weight is not the only method to prevent heart attack. You need healthy food and a BMI of at least 23-24. Please come online for audio or video consultation.

My friend done sex during past. Now she doing marriage should her husband known about her. That she already done sex. 6 years ago she done sex.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
As far as possible it is better that her marital relationship is based on trust. So it would be ideal to share her past subject to the following: if he cannot handle it, it is better not to tell him. If he may come to know through someone else, it is better he is told. Even if he is able to handle it, he must not misuse it later to harass her and if she is sure he won?t go ahead. Since it happened a long time ago, it may also be okay not to share it especially if she is has gotten over it, and that person will not spill the beans due to some animosity. Any way her husband will come to know that she is not a virgin! How will she explain that? Well, there are many husbands today who are not too particular about your past or your virginity. You could always say you lost it in the process of playing games! Even if she wants to share, let her make it appear that it is all over and that she has no feelings towards that person. There is no need to share any details. However, the husband may start getting too curious after hearing a little and may want to know more. Then she will know that he may have some difficulty and so it is better not to share at all in such a case (but then it might be too late. So think well in advance). If she is over that relationship most husbands are able to handle it. But be careful: she need not share everything about her past where it not necessary. It is okay to keep some secrets that will not harm the relationship. She could tell the husband that her past is the past and she does not want to spoil the present with anything that can be misunderstood and that she loves him and that is what matters.

Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, chewing tobacco or drinking or using drugs/ weed, avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like NICORETTE and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew Nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally Cigarette smoking is a leading preventable cause of mortality. It kills more than 60 lakh people worldwide every year. More than 50% of regular smokers would invariably die from tobacco-related illnesses which includes heart attack, cancer or asthmatic lung diseases. Best age to stop smoking is before 40 31st May is “World No Tobacco Day” Quitting smoking before the age of 40 is associated with larger decline in premature death than stopping it at a later date. Best age therefore to stop smoking is before 40. However, stopping smoking even after the age of 50 is still associated with lower risk of death as compared to those who continue to smoke. Even in smokers aged 80 years or more, quitting smoking appears to reduce some mortality.

Panic attacks can be terrifying. These attacks stem from profound anxiety that can make your heart pound and your knees go weak. Stop and think. When your thoughts start spinning out of control, simply tell yourself to stop. Organize your thoughts and decide what you need to do to get yourself calm again. Think positively. Push negative thoughts out of your mind, and remind yourself that you are in control. Think about times when you've been able to manage situations successfully and reduce anxiety. Stand up for yourself. If you need to leave a situation, do so or tell someone you need to leave. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Allowing yourself to become more upset will not help if what you really need is to take a walk and blow off some steam. Relax your muscles. Anxiety causes your entire body to tense up, so make a conscious effort to relax each muscle from your toes all the way up to your neck and face.

My concentration power is gradually reducing. Same I can sense my nervous disorder, I don't know whether it is calcium deficiency or not. I can see my self not focused from many days. Depression is playing a major role.

Depression needs ,medicines or natural control can be tried. 5 Ways to Fight Depression If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1.Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2.Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3.Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you not only get those creative juices flowing, you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. If you are happy with these answers please click on "useful” link so that I can know my efforts are not wasted. If you want more clarifications or prescription for medicines consult me on this site to ask me directly and not in open questions session It's not easy to say exactly what causes depression and anxiety – it's different for everyone. Sometimes a difficult time in you or your mates' life can set off depression or anxiety, sometimes it's caused by a combination of things that has built up over time and sometimes, there's just no obvious cause at all. Some risk factors for men developing depression or anxiety include: •Physical health problems •Relationship problems •Employment problems •Social isolation •Significant change in living arrangements (e.g. Separation or divorce) •Pregnancy and birth of a baby •Drug and alcohol use.

Hi, its normal at your age to act impulsive, to take clues and conclude its love, to get sad (not depressed) when proposal is rejected. The point im trying to make is you are at this age where a lot of people will enter your life and leave your life, only people who value your real worth will stay. So, its useless to go back off people craving attention. There is no quick response in love. On what parameters you base your love, im not aware of but yes, good things take time. Instead of jumping into love, sit back, reason, analyze and let love embrace you. Do not think in that direction in every relationship let love take its course. Focus on studying right and building your career. Love will come and happen to you at right time. You don't have to be obsessed with idea of love because everyone around is in love. You are a kind person and that is why it is important to form meaningful relationships otherwise if they are superficial and when they break you will be the one to get hurt the most.
