My husband age 48 years is suffering from triple vessel disease which type of surgery he has to do please advise.

Homeopath, Patna
My husband age 48 years is suffering from triple vessel disease which type of surgery he has to do please advise.
Hello, lybrate-user, He is obeased by 15 kg, approx,he should go to reduce his weight first. Triple vessels disease is caused due to pressure on coronary- arteries due to narrowness ,obstructing free blood supply to heart muscle resulting deficiency of Oxygen due to blockage. Cardio- surgeon will assess the level of blockage of each coronary arteries (out of three) & accordingly blockage be removed transplanting stent in the arteries to allow free blood supply to heart muscles to maintain oxygen supply to nourish d heart walls. An open heart surgery may take place in major blockage in all the arteries, or a minor blockage may be removed through angioplasty without opening the heart. He should reduce cholesterol from the blood being the main cause of blockage. Tk care.

I have heart pain and it is happening to me very often every day. I want to get rid of that whats should I do?

I have heart pain and it is happening to me very often every day. I want to get rid of that whats should I do?
Examples of heart-related causes of chest pain include: Heart attack. A heart attack is a result of a blood clot that's blocking blood flow to your heart muscle. Angina. Thick plaques can gradually build up on the inner walls of the arteries that carry blood to your heart. These plaques narrow the arteries and restrict the heart's blood supply, particularly during exertion. Aortic dissection. This life-threatening condition involves the main artery leading from your heart — your aorta. If the inner layers of this blood vessel separate, blood will be forced between the layers and can cause the aorta to rupture. Pericarditis. This condition, an inflammation of the sac surrounding your heart, usually causes sharp pain that gets worse when you breathe in or when you lay down. Digestive causes Chest pain can be caused by disorders of the digestive system, including: Heartburn. This painful, burning sensation behind your breastbone occurs when stomach acid washes up from your stomach into the esophagus — the tube that connects your throat to your stomach. Swallowing disorders. Disorders of the esophagus can make swallowing difficult and even painful. Gallbladder or pancreas problems. Gallstones or inflammation of your gallbladder or pancreas can cause abdominal pain that radiates to your chest. Muscle and bone causes Some types of chest pain are associated with injuries and other problems affecting the structures that make up the chest wall. Examples include: Costochondritis. In this condition, the cartilage of your rib cage, particularly the cartilage that joins your ribs to your breastbone, becomes inflamed and painful. Sore muscles. Chronic pain syndromes, such as fibromyalgia, can produce persistent muscle-related chest pain. Injured ribs. A bruised or broken rib can cause chest pain. Lung-related causes Many lung disorders can cause chest pain, including: Pulmonary embolism. This cause of chest pain occurs when a blood clot becomes lodged in a lung (pulmonary) artery, blocking blood flow to lung tissue. Pleurisy. If the membrane that covers your lungs becomes inflamed, it can cause chest pain that's made worse when you inhale or cough. Collapsed lung. The chest pain associated with a collapsed lung typically begins suddenly and can last for hours. A collapsed lung occurs when air leaks into the space between the lung and the ribs. Pulmonary hypertension. High blood pressure in the arteries carrying blood to the lungs (pulmonary hypertension) also can produce chest pain. Other causes Chest pain can also be caused by: Panic attack. If you have periods of intense fear accompanied by chest pain, rapid heartbeat, rapid breathing, profuse sweating, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness and a fear of dying, you may be experiencing a panic attack. Shingles. Caused by a reactivation of the chickenpox virus, shingles can produce pain and a band of blisters from your back around to your chest wall. So for heart related cause there are many effective medicines to prevent that pain like arjunarishta....hridyarnava ras....akeek pishti....if breathlessness then shwas kutha ras....shwas chintamani ras....etc....avoid oily food...spicy food...junk food....etc

The choice of anti anxiety drug to be used depend son severity of the anxiety, it's type, duration and relation with any stressors or biological problems like heart diseases, headaches, hormone imbalances etc. I would advise you not to make any wild guesses about treatment options and consider visiting a psychiatrist personally. Amixide h is used for anxiety but may not always be useful.

Dear lybrateuser, - Your pain could be due to acidity/gerd - avoid spicy, fried, sour & junk food, restrict tea/coffee to 1-2 cups per day - have meals on time, do not skip meals, chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, raise pillow end by 4-6 inches while sleeping at night, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have tab Pan 40, 1 tab half an hour before breakfast - have 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion.

Right sided inspirational pain may be pleural pain. Pleura is the covering of lungs, when due to some reason it gets stuck to the lung tissue it gives pain. If you are a smoker, please quit. Steam inhalations 4 to 5 times a day with some pain killer and bronchdialater will help. Hope satisfied. Regards.

I am 58 years old I have diabetic, hyper tension, acidity and gas trouble give me suggestion to cure.
You must be aware diabetes and hypertension are diseases which can only be controlled by proper medication, diet and exercise, there is cure for both these. Acidity and gas trouble are related conditions, you are aware of some foods increasing acidity as well as gaseousness. It is essential that those foods are avoided. To reduce acidity you should eat at specific intervals, avoid high spicy and oily foods. Also reduce tea/coffee and aerated drinks, practice some aasanas such as pawan muktasan, manduk asana, these should help.

Dear lybrate-user, you have had a bypass surgery at a very young age. That suggests that you have very strong risk factors for the disease to show up so early. Remember, bypass does not stop future occurance of fresh blockages. That has to be contolled with healthy life style, diet and medications. The doses of medications can be determined after doing certain tests. As regards mangoes, all seasonal fruits can be taken in moderation.
