Hello, Thanks for the query. For persons without the problem of diabetes, there is really no worry at all. However, it is better if one restricts overall sugar intake, whether it is brown or white. As regards the rice variety, brown one is supposed to contain more of fibers, so it is better. But the whole thing is the total quantity that one takes. There are some white varieties with high fiber content available. All these considerations are more relevant for a diabetic patient. In general for a normal person it is better if one consumes more of green leafy vegetables, and other fiber containing foods. Thanks.

I think surgery is last resort after local steroid injection. If you are reluctant to surgery you can have one more local steroid injection if no relief after that then you can think about surgical management. Usually surgery results are good with little percent chances complications.

It can affect the growth of the baby and also the mother's health. You can talk to the doctor and begin the treatment immediately. It is essential to go for regular follow up to monitor the health of both the mother and the baby. Taking the medicines and the supplements (and doing the suggested tests including USG) will be helpful to take the preventive measures or necessary action.
