What Causes Shaky Hands?
Tremor is an unintentional, rhythmic muscle movement, most often affecting the hands. In some cases, tremor can be a sign of a neurological disease but the most common type of tremor occurs in otherwise healthy people. Today's health tip will focus on this common type of tremor, known as" essential tremor.

Causes for tremor

There are a variety of causes for tremor, some serious, but most relatively benign or temporary.
Neurological diseases including multiple sclerosis, parkinson's disease, and stroke are some of the most serious causes.

A number of drugs including amphetamines, corticosteroids, antidepressants, thyroid replacement, and asthma medication can produce tremors.

While the exact cause for essential tremor is still being studied, there is some suggestion that it is related to mild degeneration of an area of the brain (cerebellum).

Hello general weakness will be treated if you follow these things: 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

I have hypothyroidism for 4 years recently l got my vitamin d checked and the reports shows am deficient as it is just 11. 38ng/ml and vitamin B12 at 169 pg/ ml. I was advised to take calcigen D3 tabs once a day for 10 days and another one said one tab once a week. Am confused how much should l take kindly suggest.

Lybrate-userji, if vitamin d deficiency is there, then treatment has to be taken for a longer time with a higher dose. There are sachets of vitamin d3, to be taken once a week for 8 weeks, later once a month for a few months. Calcium supplements may also be taken. Thanks.

Cushing's Syndrome - Causes and Symptoms

Cushing’s syndrome occurs due to abnormally high levels of the hormone cortisol. This can happen for a variety of reasons. The most common cause is overuse of corticosteroid medications.

Causes:

Your adrenal glands produce cortisol. It helps with a number of your body’s functions, including:

  1. regulating blood pressure and the cardiovascular system

  2. reducing the immune system’s inflammatory response

  3. converting carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into energy

  4. balancing the effects of insulin

  5. responding to stress

Your body may produce high levels of cortisol for a variety of reasons, including:

  1. high stress levels, including stress related to an acute illness, surgery, injury, or pregnancy, especially in the final trimester

  2. athletic training

  3. malnutrition

  4. alcoholism

  5. depression, panic disorders, or high levels of emotional stress

The most common cause of Cushing’s syndrome is the use of corticosteroid medications, such as prednisone, in high doses for a long period. High doses of injectable steroids for treatment of back pain can also cause this syndrome.

Other causes include:

  1. a pituitary gland tumor in which the pituitary gland releases too much adrenocorticotropic hormone, which is also known as Cushing’s disease

  2. ectopic ACTH syndrome, which causes tumors that usually occur in the lung, pancreas, thyroid, or thymus gland

  3. an adrenal gland abnormality or tumor

Symptoms of Cushing’s Syndrome:

The most common symptoms of this condition are:

  • weight gain
  • obesity
  • fatty deposits, especially in the midsection, the face and between the shoulders and the upper back (causing a buffalo hump)
  • purple stretch marks on the breasts, arms, abdomen, and thighs
  • thinning skin that bruises easily
  • skin injuries that are slow to heal
  • acne
  • fatigue
  • muscle weakness
  • increased thirst
  • increased urination
  • bone loss
  • depression
  • an increased incidence of infections

Women may also notice extra facial and body hair, as well as absent or irregular menstruation.

Men may also have:

  • erectile dysfunction
  • a loss of sexual interest
  • decreased fertility

I am trying for pregnancy after 2 miscarriages. My gums told to reduce weight before next Pregnancy. My height is 154 cm and weight is 73 kg .i cannot do brisk walking more tan 10-15 min I don't have any thyroid issues according to my lab reports. But weight is increasing. For weight loss start your day with 1glass of warm water + ajwain and jeera soaked. Then have some breakfast like paratha or pulses (without oil and salt) In lunch try to consume more of salad and glass of buttermilk In snacks try to have fruit or salads In dinner more of salads and buttermilk. No oily foods, maida based foods, salty foods. Small meals and frequent meals. Plenty of water 3.5liters a day.

Diet management is helpful for loosing weight. 1- you should take green tea 3-4 time / day. 2- take lukewarm water in early morning with lemon juice. 3- take heavy breakfast which is rich in mineral, vitamin, avoid fatty product like cheese, white bread. 4- take lunch litter than breakfast. 5- take dinner litter than lunch. Do not take dinner after 8 pm. Do some exercise like cardio (slow walking 30-45 min), yoga.

well it's always recommended to have alteration/variation in oils.in every 15 days have different oils(change the seed of oils).or use combination of two oils.some examples are soya bean,rice bran,mustard etc.hope you get my point sir.nd if need any other hlp feel free to ask.take care sir.hav a gud day!
