'By giving up our power
We begin to empower'

"Why are you so shy
So quiet so meek"
"Go out, be social
There's so much to seek"

"You hardly ever sit still
And then you ask for a break"
"You really need to buck up"
"Be serious for heavens sake"

"You still can't read"
"You refuse to write"
"Going at this rate
Your future isn't bright"

"What do I do with you
I haven't got a clue"
"You drive me mad"
"You make me feel blue"

"You eat and stuff too much"
"You don't eat at all"
"You are so tiny"
"You are too tall"

"Your spellings are so poor"
"Your memory is so weak"
"You suck at maths and science"
"Your future is too bleak"

No matter what kids be
No matter what they say
They never seem enough
And they must always obey

We threaten, we control
We bully and blackmail
We punish, we abuse
While they rebel or wail

We assume we know better
We say its for their good
Unknowingly, in many ways
We scar their childhood

We expect so much from them
To win and succeed
We turn them into robots
To their dreams we pay no heed

We expect, we judge
We project and we shame
All the joy and spontaneity
We kill, as we tame

What if we let them be
Take many steps back
Create a space of allowance
And cut them some slack

What if we truly listen
To their ideas, their dreams
And let them take charge
However crazy it seems!

What if we stop instructing
The talking down, the preaching
What if we let them learn at their pace
Stop pressurizing, let go of teaching

What if we could be kinder
More caring, more present
What if we do what nourishes
Create memories that are pleasant

We are not responsible
For how they turn out to be
Give their life back in their hands
They will shine, you shall see.

Sir. I am 23 years old. I am addicted to cigarettes. I wanted to quit smoking. Can you please suggest me some anti nicotine with which I could change my smoking habit ?

M B B S, M. D (Internal Medicine)
General Physician, Nellore
First step is you can chew nicotine chewing gums instead of smoking available as nicotex (cipla). Second step is using antidepressants like bupropion or venlafaxine but should be done under a deaddiction program under supervision of a psychiatrist who has experience with these drugs. Regular exercise and meditation with strong will might be enough also.

Eight Warm Up Exercises You Aren't Doing but Totally Should

Eight Warm Up Exercises You Aren't Doing but Totally Should

The point of doing a workout is to put your body through the motions and phases before you hit an intense spot of persistent action before cooling down. This helps in giving your body a well balanced workout. But what many of us do not know is that a good workout schedule will also involve a well paced warm up session with exercises that will warm up the body and its various areas as well as the muscles so that the intensity does not hit the body suddenly and result in some sort of injury or undue fatigue.

So get it right with these eight warm up exercises that you aren't doing, but totally should!

  1. Dynamic: Follow a dynamic routine and mix it up a little with various kinds of movements that will work the different areas of the body. Start with squats and move on to lunges before you do a few skips to warm up!
  2. Jump: Try the jumping rope the next time you hit the gym and watch your heart rate go up just enough to get you all warm and loose and ready for that heavy duty work out. You can start with five minutes of this motion before moving on to your first set.
  3. Dance: Did you know that switching on your favourite music and shuffling your feet before you start to gyrate a little can actually get you in the right frame of mind for a workout? So next time, warm up with a little dancing!
  4. Balance: Warm up with a balancing act or two. Stand on one leg and do deadlifts with a dumbbell. Repeat the same motion for both arms. This helps in imitating the actual workout that you will be indulging in, which helps in warming up the relevant areas.
  5. Stretches: Try doing stretches and jumping jacks for stability and to work your core strength before you hit the gym equipment. This will bring about better blood circulation and help you get your heart ready for the work out.
  6. Swing: Use swinging movements with your arms and legs with circles and marches to help loosen up the muscles.
  7. Walk: Do animal walk with crab walks, frog jumps, bunny hops, inch worm motions and much more to unleash your energy.
  8. Medicine Balls: Grab some medicine balls and do a few moves like the rotational twist, the front body push, the reverse eight and many more to get your body pumped up.

Warming up is an important part of working out, so remember to get your warm up routine right!

Do exercise like weight lifting, push ups, yoga and others muscle building exercise. Take food extra. Do not skip meals. Add ghee, butter etc with foods. Avoid fast foods as far as possible. Use refined foods extra with unrefined. Extra fish, meat, egg will help you. Add more healthy fat in cooking. No water just before or during meals. Use supplement in this regard.

How can I lose my weight and how can I managed my hair, my hair is large no of follow down. So what can I do?
Hello, you should go for healthy and sensible weight reduction program which would reduce your weight maintaining the good nourished body and immune system at the same time! Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. Medication for obesity: Start taking Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals (for weight reduction) and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily - both for 1 month. There after revert me back for further guidance.

Studies show that replacing a grain-based breakfast with eggs can help you eat fewer calories for the next 36 hours, and lose more weight and more body fat . If you can’t eat eggs for some reason, then that’s fine. Any source of quality protein for breakfast should do the trick.
