If you have a fast metabolism and you want to bulk up, changing the way you eat and exercise can help you gain weight more quickly. While you can always gain weight by eating junk food and getting little exercise, the healthier way to do it is by eating plenty of nutrient-rich food and weight training to build up your muscle mass. It?s not going to happen overnight, but if you start right away you?ll see results within a few weeks. Eat more than three meals a day. If you naturally have a really fast metabolism, eating three meals a day, Eating this much can take a lot of effort, since you need to stock up on enough food to feed yourself more often. Pack calorie-rich snacks you can eat on the go, like bananas and peanut butter or dense granola bars. Eat plenty of calories at every meal. Eating five small, low-calorie meals isn?t going to cut it; they?ve got to be big and rich in calories. Load up on a restaurant-sized meal each time, with big portions of meat, vegetables, and a carbohydrate. Eating this much might not exactly feel comfortable, but it?s the best way to gain weight fast.[2] ? A large enough breakfast might consist of a three-egg omelet, two slices of bacon or sausage, a cup of roasted breakfast potatoes and a glass of orange juice. ? For lunch, try a fully dressed turkey club on whole wheat bread, two bananas, and a salad. ? Dinner could be a grilled steak, loaded baked potato and a few cups of grilled veggies. For ayurvedic medicine consult, in 1 month weight increase 4-5 kg no side effects you take 1 month trial pack and course is for 3 months.

Please note the followings in respect to your queries: 1. Banana and Milk -- Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. 2. Peanut Butter -- Peanut butter is a yummy spread for toast and bread. If you’re trying to gain weight, feel free to go for this high-calorie and nutritious food. Apply it on your whole wheat bread for breakfast and see how your weight increases within a short period of time. •Besides, you can spread a spoonful of peanut butter on fruits or vegetables like banana, apple slices, fresh berries, wheat germ or applesauce. •Alternatively, a peanut butter sandwich is also a good choice. If you have any medical disease that needs to be treated. Find a great personal trainer and yoga instructor to keep you consistent. Take Five phos - 4 tablets twice daily.

You have a bmi of 27.73 kgs/m2, signifying over weight. The efforts to reduce weight will be successful if your tsh levels are between 3 to 4 milli units. So please see that first. Because unless hypothyroidism is fully controlled, weight reduction is not going to happen. Plus you have to take a restricted diet that provides calories based on ideal body weight (60 kgs), extent of daily exercise. You have to do a workout of at least 1 hour a day. Avoid too many carbs, sweets, and increase intake of proteins and low fat foods. That will help. Thanks for the question.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

1. Thyroid - No diet can cure this problem. You have to take medicine for life. 2. Diabetes - Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc..>> Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango..>> Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc..>> Eat fruits with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange. Diabetes can be controlled / managed through various measures.

Respected Dr. I thank you for this service. I am a tutor and need 5-6 cups of tea (having milk) per day.. To reduce acidity and gases, i have replaced 2 cups with green tea. I want to know as to when and at what time of the day should I consume tea to reduce any of its side effects like gas and acidity ?

If you can reduce then making 2 cups of tea + 2-4 cups of green tea is advisable. Green tea has lots of antioxidants. Also always include 2-3 fibre biscuits along with tea to avoid acidity.

To reduce fat naturally you should avoid packed and market food, reduce wheat and rice based food and minimise sugar, oil and salt. Increase intake of natural food like fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts & seeds. Do 30 mins of cardio + body weight exercise in morning.

Hi, I am considering a girl for marriage. She is on the slim side. She does not specifically eat dessert, but likes her tea or coffee to be sweet (3-4 sachets of sugar). She has never paid heed to this fact. However, she mentioned casually that she has a high BMR. However, no doctor had told it to her. My question is very simple, is a high BMR good or bad? Will it add to complications to our marriage.

Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is an estimate of how many calories you'd burn if you were to do nothing but rest for 24 hours. It represents the minimum amount of energy needed to keep your body functioning, including breathing and keeping your heart beating. As you mentioned she is on the slim side and not fat despite of having too much sugar in tea ,which means her BMR is high, as casually said by her.
