Actually if your diet is providing enough calories and proteins,there is no need for supplement unless you are into a rigorous workout. Side effects do happen if taken without precautions and supervision.

I have blood sugar tested on 08-03-2015 Fasting - 139 and post fasting - 253 . This is first time. 3 months before I had checked that fasting was 114. Please suggest.

TO call any one as diabetic , your fasting sugar values should be more than 126 on at least two different occasions. ( Why ? - because fasting levels show much variations) Plus do you have any symptoms ? (like increase urination, increased thirst , etc) . Also an HbAic test would really help in this case. Currently a value in excess of 6.5 % is considered as diabetes.

To make healthy body you should adopt a healthy life style.Eat healthy and stay healthy.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods.Eat lots of fruits,vegetables.Use more protein in diet which will help to build muscle.Take nuts,seeds like pumpkin,sunflower,sesame seeds.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water but not during meals.Do regular exercise for better.Take proper rest.

Her LMP is 12 Dec 2015. After taking her latest ultrasound Dr. told that her placenta is only 3cm above. It should b minimum 5 cm above. Is it a serious issue?

Hi. i am 26 year old girl. When i was 19 i suddenly put on weight and because of that stretch marks appear on my tummy , thighs n arms. Please guide me to lose weight n hw can these marks can be disappeared ?

Apply castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motion for 10-15 min, wrap the area with thin cotton cloth and keep hot water bottle or hot pad for 20 min. Repeat the process for minimum a month to notice positive result to loose weight include lot of fruits nd veggies and walk for an hour.Drink lots of water

Simple solution and most primary and effective one is make a habit of lesser caloric consumption than you spend roughly. That's called negative caloric intake balance. For spending calories you have various methods like physical work out, hot water drinking, some herbal medicines use, deep breathing/'kapal bhati' etc. For lesser caloric intake you do not have to starve. Simply increase leafy fibers, sugarless/ sugar restrictions, fat restrictions, protein increase after workout etc.

Hello lybrate-user, first of all you need to increase your total calories intake and include one physical activity. Please avoid junk food as it is observed that this kind of food is nutrient deficient and can be the reason of not gaining weight. So try to eat home-cooked food increase the portion size in every meal, take fruit juices, take mango or banana milk shake specially after doing exercise. Sleep for at least 8 hours or can take afternoon nap if you have time, don't take stress. Take chwanprash on the regular basis, if you follow you can see the difference in one month. Good food source of protein are egg, chicken, fish, oatmeal, daal, legumes and nuts.

What is nightfall? 

Nightfall or night discharge is a condition when some men ejaculate in sleep usually in the early hours of the morning or late night. This problem usually worsens due to the weakness in muscles and nerves of the penis due to past bad history of excessive masturbation, thinning of semen viscosity, fluctuation in hormones and a full bladder. Usually, men are able to hold the semen but when it excess then it is eliminated in the form of nightfall. or late night. Treatment for nightfall:

It is believed that the best way to stop nightfall is by changing the lifestyle and treating with guidance of doctor. This includes reducing the frequency of masturbation and avoiding porn and nude pictures. However, there are some ways to cure nightfall naturally by doing the following:

  1. Meditation increases concentration and inner feelings can be controlled. This helps distract men from indulging in unwanted activities and is very effective in controlling nightfall.
  2. Exercise and yoga allow a person to have full control of their mind, body and soul. By doing regular yoga and exercises sex-related activities which induce nightfall can be avoided.
  3. Bathing with essential oils before going to bed is helpful as it relaxes the body and mind and allows a good sleep.
  4. Change in diet can prevent nightfall. Men who suffer from this problem should avoid acidic food.

And if the nightfall persists you need to consult a sexologist and with proper treatment of the underlying cause you can cure your problem completely with your lost physical and sexual strength.

Curing nightfall is easy and should be recognized so that it does not hamper the sex life of a man.

Following home remedies can also be taken to control or prevent the situation:

  1. Bottle gourd has a cooling effect thereby cools the system which is responsible for nightfall. It can be used in two ways, either by drinking bottle gourd juice before bedtime or by mixing the juice with sesame oil and massaging it.
  2. Gooseberry or amla helps in increasing the immunity of the body. It is believed that drinking a glass of gooseberry juice can help get rid of nightfall.
  3. Onions and garlic are known to cure many health related conditions. 3-4 cloves of raw garlic and onions in the form of salads should be had to cure nightfall.
  4. Milk, when combined with pre-soaked almonds, banana, and ginger, helps to eliminate this problem. Banana has a cooling property which helps to control the problem. Also, eating curd is beneficial as it has healing properties which cool the system and increase immunity.
  5. Juice of celery and fenugreek are very helpful in nightfall as well as premature ejaculation. These juices can be mixed with honey in a ratio of 2:1.
