tips to control diabetes 1-Losing Extra Weight:-helps lowering blood pressure and cholesterol too. For woman: waist of 80 cm or more & for man: waist of 90 cm or more are at risk 2- Constant and regular food timings :-improves metabolic activity and helps in reducing weight. 3- Split your meals and eating in moderate amount:-, improves your metabolic rate as the food u take is not concentrated at one time. 4- No long Gaps and skipping of meals:-. Never miss out breakfast. 5- No overeating:-Never eat in a bulk on one time .Eat your food slowly, chew well. 6- Proper Exercise and work outs:- Brisk walking for 30 min. atleast five times a week is the best and easiest way of exercising. You can also try Cycling, swimming, dancing. Timings for exercise should be fixed and regular. Avoid heavy exercise. Do not eat right away after a workout . 7-constant and regular timings for medication 8-Avoid fried foods and meat: Limit fats and sweets. Rather choose a variety of foods including whole grains, fresh vegetables, salads, fruits, low fat dairy products. 9- Take high-fibre and complex carbohydrates:-like oats as they are easily broken down to basic sugars. Add whole grain foods in your diet. Avoid carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, pizza , candies, and snacks .Instead include high-fiber carbohydrates like wheat bran, flaxseed and methi seeds to your wheat flour. This will increase fibre in your diet.

Dear sir, My son is aged about 11 years old and studying Vth to VI th now. He is having thyroid problem for 3 years and now he is taking THYROXIN 50 everyday morning.Since Last 2 months, he is taking half tablet of GLUCOMET at night as per doctor advise. But, his weight is not under control, since last 3 years. Now his weight is 74kgs and height is 5ft and 3inches. Will you please, advise to control weight. Thanks

You need to take professional advice for diet. Both these conditions need to be monitored well as your son is small and his needs are different from an adult. Following weight loss tips meant for adults will not only not help but may affect normal growth. Let your child indulge in some sport of his choice and let him eat small frequent meals. Avoid junk foods. Let junk foods be only once a week.

I am very slip can you suggest me anything about weight gaining.
Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2.take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3.triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4.amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight A]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner B]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. I am so slim height 5'3" and weight 50kg then too doctor said I have mild acanthosis nigricans. My skin is dark and under eye it's more dark than on other parts of skin. Wat shud I do. What should I include in my skincare routine to cure it. I go to gym too and exercise at least half hour.

The darkening of the skin may not necessarily be permanent at times. There are several conditions that could cause your skin to get darker for a certain period. Skin may be dark dupe to harmonal imbalances. The colour of skin returns to normal once the condition is resolved. Dark skin is not a symptom of life threatening health problem. In case there are other accompanying symptoms like fatigue, weakness, depression or loss of appetite in addition to high pigmentation, it could be an indication of an underlying health condition that requires immediate medical attention. It will be better if you consult privately with details.

If you want to build muscle you must consume more calories. Increase your food intake. Eat more proteins like egg, lean chicken, fish like tuna and other fishes, cottage cheese, soy products etc. Use whey protein after workout. Take healthy fat like fish oil, olive oil, nuts like peanuts, almond, walnut, flax seed, sun flower seed etc. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat sweet potato with potato, brown rice, brown bread, whole wheat, whole grain, peas, drink plenty of water.

Hi that's right as per your height you are overweight and there are specific actions needed for weight loss since the margin to work on is quite a lot. 1. Make your self more active - walk whenever possible/ use staircase / walk & talk 2. Eat small frequent meals 3. Limit processed foods like wafers, biscuits, cakes etc 4. Limit fat intake 5. Add 4 - 5 portions of veggies & fruits for each day 6. Drink lots of water - around 10 - 12 glasses of water/day

Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies.

You can avoid premature ageing by avoid:- Ake care of your neck, shoulders and hands Your face may look younger than your age, but your neck, shoulders and hands can instantly reveal your true age. It’s crucial to take care of those parts of your body each day to prevent premature aging. Moisturize your neck, shoulders and hands before sleep and use a sunscreen during the day. Avoid too much sun exposure. Wash your face twice a day Sometimes you are too sleepy to wash your face in the morning and too tired to remove your makeup before sleep. It’s one of the worst habits that lead to premature aging. It only takes a few minutes to wash your face so don’t find excuses to avoid doing it regularly. Not only will you prevent premature wrinkles, you can also prevent acne. Get enough sleep. Avoid to touch your face frequently.
