I am 21 year old and my weight is 73 kg and my height 5.5 inches. I do many exercises but my weight is not decrease. ...
There's no magic bullet to losing weight. It requires hard work and effort. People often overeat and assume that they can burn off the excess calories at gym. But it is easier to take out the calories than to try and burn them off. To drop a kg of body fat you need to burn or reduce 7500 calories. Through exercise. Burning 200 calories per day than through cutting 500 calories a day from their diet" that's either 1 hr or 1 1/2 hrs at the gym on the treadmill, on the rowing machine; or just cut off a couple of sodas, or burger and pizza with cream cheese. 70% contribution comes from diet and just 30 % from exercise. So choose your foods wisely. Tips to stay healthy. 1) eat more of foods that are rich in fibre. 2) avoid oily, fried and spicy food. 3) make sure to have sufficient amount of water throughout the day. Ideally 8-10 glasses. 4) aim to achieve and then maintain your ideal body weight. 5) ensure to follow a regular exercise routine 6) dinner should be had atleast two hours before bed time for effective digestion. 7) avoid overcooking, reheating, or deep freezing food. 8) avoid the use of soda bicarbonate, preservatives, and colors while cooking vegetables and pulses. 9) prefer the consumption of whole fruits over juices. 10) use wheat flour without sieving. 11) never skip a meal, instead have smaller and frequent meals. 12) always start your day with breakfast. This will keep you energized throughout the day. 13) avoid refined products and processed foods. Remember you eat to live and so do not. Live to eat. Stay healthy. Stay happy.

Have a healthy breakfast – The fundamental rule to any kind of weight loss program is having a healthy breakfast without skipping it for a single day. Oatmeal is ideal to have in breakfast, as it is a source of complex carbohydrates. It satisfies you and keeps you full longer. Snack on nuts during the day – Nuts are good source of essential roughage, fat, protein, micronutrient and minerals. You should avoid fried and salted nuts. You should always opt for raw nuts. A handful nuts can keep your hunger at bay as well as provide energy. Drink water – Drinking water throughout the day is very important. Since, it keeps us hydrated. Every person should consume at least 8 – 10 glasses of water throughout the day. Hi I am a diabetic n under insulin control need to ask dat my wife does not reach her orgasm even after prolong sex n...
Hello- OrgasmCertain things are needed to push women over the brink of ecstasy. Try these bedroom-tested strategies 1) THE DOUBLE GRIP Despite all the attention her booty may attract when she's walking down the street in tight jeans or bending over a file cabinet, a woman's butt is too often sidelined during sex. And that's why grabbing both of her cheeks when she's on top may be just the unexpected turn-on a girl needs to get off. "The buttocks are packed with nerve endings, To give her a surprising jolt of pleasure, spread your fingers wide and squeeze both buttocks firmly. But take it one step at a time. Yes, of course, there are women out there who crave a good spanking, but until you've had a conversation about this sort of thing—however playful you are—just keep it simple. 2) THE ULTIMATE There's no question that clitoral contact is the ultimate fuse blower. But how—and how much—depends on the woman. "Going down on a woman allows you to get a real sense of the stimulation she likes at every stage of arousal, especially the final one. It also eliminates any performance anxiety she has during intercourse, so she can kick back and enjoy. Learn what she likes. Get between her legs and give her a solid base of lips, tongue, gums, and even chin to rub against. At first, use your hands to guide her hips to let her know you want her to do the grinding. When she takes over, note how hard she's pushing and in what direction. Use that information later when using your fingers or giving her a more aggressive tongue bath.

Coughing Blood - How to Treat It?

MD, MBBS
Pulmonologist, Delhi
Coughing Blood - How to Treat It?

A cough is probably one of the most common respiratory diseases that people suffer from. In most cases, it is nothing to worry about and can be cured with cough suppressants and salt water gargles. However, coughing of blood is a serious problem. The coughing up of blood that originates from below the level of the larynx is known as hemoptysis. This can vary in terms of severity depending on the amount of blood being expelled. This disease is a common condition, but on an average, less than 5% of hemoptysis cases are life threatening.

Hemoptysis rarely affects children. The symptoms of this condition include:
Sudden onset of a cough with bloody phlegm

  1. Fever
  2. Anorexia and weight loss
  3. Dyspnoea
  4. Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnoea
  5. Fatigue

Chest pain: Medical attention should be sought in cases where this condition recurs often, if it lasts for longer than a fortnight or if the volume of blood expectorated is more than 30ml per day. The various tools that help in the diagnosis of this condition are:
Chest radiography: This imaging modality helps lateralize bleeding and understand the amount of lung involvement. It is quick, inexpensive and can also help detect other underlying abnormalities.
Bronchoscopy: This involves the insertions of a rigid or flexible endoscope into the bronchial passages to check the airways and determine active bleeding sites.
MDCT: A multidetector CT is a non-invasive imaging tool that provides a comprehensive evaluation of airways, lung parenchyma, and thoracic vessels. It can also be used to uncover potential causes of bleeding such as bronchiectasis, pulmonary infections and lung cancer. In some cases, a multidetector CT angiography may also be used.

Oral antibiotics are usually the first stage of treatment for this condition. Smokers will also be urged to quit cigarettes as this can worsen their condition. Treatment for minor hemoptysis may also include:

  1. Oral hemostatics
  2. Cough suppressants
  3. Anticoagulants
  4. Radiation of laser treatment
  5. Therapeutic bronchoscopy

In its later stages, hemoptysis can be treated with a minimally invasive procedure known as endovascular embolization or with surgery. In some cases, endovascular embolization may also be sued to stabilise the patient before surgery. This procedure reduces the pressure in the hypertrophic arterial blood vessels and decreases the risk of perioperative bleeding.

Hemoptysis is also one of the most common complaints of lung cancer patients. Depending on the stage of cancer and the amount of blood expectorated, treatment in some cases may not be possible. In such cases, a parenteral opioid and fast-acting benzodiazepine may be administered. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Pulmonologist.

Is it possible to loose weight with proper diet and homeopathy medication? I have a paunch in my tummy.

B.Sc. - Dietitics / Nutrition, Nutrition Certification,Registered Dietitian
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
Is it possible to loose weight with proper diet and homeopathy medication?
I have a paunch in my tummy.
It is definitely possible. Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: Limit non-nutritious foods, such as: Sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages Cut down on high-fat foods by: Choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: Fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken,  fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: Eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine.
