What kind of food and medicine should I take to gain my bodyweight and muscle? Please help me.
Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Hello to increase stamina cardio exercise capacity should be improved, and when you combine aerobic activity this will end up making you faster. And eating a egg provides protein which gives enough energy during the activity.

Hi, The symptoms of jaundice are: - Fever - Vomitting - Tiredness - Loss of appetite - Abdominal pain - Yellowish discolouration of the conjunctiva, tongue, nail beds, skin and urine. - Whitish stools. - Body itching - Enlargement of the liver and spleen Follow these precautions: - Maintain personnel hygiene like washing hands thoroughly with soap before eating and after attending to the nature calls. - Avoid eating roadside food which are unhygienic. - Wash vegetables before cooking and wash the fruits before consuming. - Drink only purified water. - Keep the eatables covered to avoid flies sitting on them and contaminating it.

I have an headache for 1week with an fever and I am feeling really weak have not taken any medicine.
Dear lybrate user. A) take 10-10ml of fresh lemon juice and honey before meal. B) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini rasa after meals. C) eat 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals d) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for 5 days. It gives you good result.

Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like milk powder, soya protein for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Please note that you need to check if she is having worms. If so that needs to be treated first. Try giving her foods little by little at a time ever 2 hours intervals. Give her milk daily 2 glasses and banana. Also give her five phos 2 tablets twice daily for next 3 weeks nd give a feedback.

I have spondylitis and when it pains it pains like anything the shoulder gets stiff and spasms and there is unbearable pain through the left shoulder and even the neck gets very stiff. What should I do to recover from it for relief.

18 years is the pubertal age. You will be having primary (linear) growth. After puberty you will grow laterally. Don't worry. Take balanced diet and sleep and exercise. Regards.

Diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve body fat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat. I can also suggest home remedies.

Hi lybrate-user. You must join gym first, after 6 to 7 month you must think for proteins. Unroll just go with natural protein like chicken, eggs, milk, milk products bla bla. When you going to start pumping your body by picking high weight, muscle get teared, this tear of muscle enrich with satellite bodies moving insight of our body in the form of proteins. So basically habitual your self with natural proteins and low weight, make habits of exercise then think for weight lifting and putting body mass. Thanks.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Fat-Rich Diet: Intake of animal fat content should not exceed recommended levels because of the increased risk of cholesterol in blood. Instead, one can opt for unsaturated plant fats that are healthy and very helpful for weight gain.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy.  1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day.  Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of –  a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day.  g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

My question is that in holy days of Ramadan what fruits should we use for water of body as we lose so much water.
Hi mir Diet tips to follow during Ramadan. o make you healthy, but only if it’s followed in a proper manner , if not then it can do more harm than good. After long hours of fasting it is usually a time to feast during iftar, but correct food choices can help you enjoy good foods along with health and vitality. Let me share few tips with you. 1.Break fast slowly – At Iftar first break your fast with dates. Dates help you to stabilize your blood sugar, they are rich in fiber , which helps for good bowel movements plus are good sources of potassium and magnesium, iron and calcium. Post that hydrate yourself with water. Then start with a warm soup and move on to fruits which are rich in water content like watermelon. Then go on your main meal 2. Make healthy choices- Once your fast is broken – after a warm bowl of soup, salads and fruits , if you are not hungry eat after sometime (the main meal) as eating full stomach can make you feel bloated. Choose whole grains, proteins, good fats and lean meats for your meals. Try to avoid fried foods and sweets. 3. Processed foods- Avoid having , foods high in salt and processed, packaged foods, as this will make you thirsty the next day during fasting period. Also they will lead to unnecessary weight gain. Also have sugary foods not directly after iftar but at a gap of 2-3 hrs post iftar in moderation . Moderation is the key here 4. Balanced meals– Even when on fast try to have a well balanced meal – containing all required nutrients -viz Carbohydrate, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. 5. Caffeine – Avoid coffee and caffeine containing foods as it can act as a diuretic and cause dehydration and make you more thirsty. If you are a habitual coffee drinker , try to avoid it few days before Ramadan so its not difficult for you to stay away from it during fasting and to avoid headaches and irritation 6. Equal division of meals– Even when fasting it is important to have 3 meals and divide them equally. You can have your first meal at iftar, then next few hrs before going to bed and 3rd one at Suhoor, to avoid continuous snacking during non fasting periods. 7. Follow the food plate method– You can follow the food plate method during you non fasting period- Half of your plate should be fruits and vegetables, 1/4 – whole grains (multigrain chapati/brown rice etc) and 1/4 lean meat, pulses and dals. + you can have curd or buttermilk along side. 10. Exercise– Continue light exercise during fasting period too, it helps to keep you active and helps to balance weight too, opt for walking for 45 mins or light cardio activity. I hope all these tips will make your Ramzan happy and healthy, and revitalise your spirit, mind and body.
