Hello, You need to get evaluated for PCOD . the delay could be just stress induced and if this pattern continues then you would have to be placed on low dose oc pills for atleast 3 months to normalize your cycles.

If the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. You could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice generated to the area where the ulcer is located. Clove buds are a great ingredient to cure sore throat too. To prevent the ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your mouth with a little salt water. Remember, this won’t make the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Honey is a natural humectant. It helps reduce scarring and hastens the process of new tissue growth. This, along with its anti-microbial effect ensures faster healing of the mouth ulcer. Chew a few leaves of tulsi along with some water about three to four times every day. This will help in getting rid of ulcers faster and also have a preventive action against their recurrence. Applying a little coconut oil directly onto the mouth ulcer or chewing some coconut (fresh or dry) helps reduce pain and inflammation and hence, ulcers heal faster. Mix some sugar to crushed khus-khus seeds and consume this mixture for instant relief from ulcers. You could apply a little ghee directly to the ulcerated area, or drink a glass of buttermilk two or three times every day. Mouth ulcers left untreated generally go away in a week or so; with these home remedies, you can expect faster relief. However, if you notice an ulcer in the mouth that is persistently present although it does not cause you any pain, do not neglect it or try to treat it with home remedies beyond a few days. Make it a point to see a doctor soon because often, a painless mouth ulcer is one of the earliest signs of oral cancer.

1. Protein is the key for the muscle building. Without adequate protein, muscle gain and growth is not possible because weight training demands for amino acids (which comes from protein). You should daily eat about 2.2g of protein per kilogram of your weight. For example, if you are 50kg, then you should eat 50x2.2=111g of protein spread over 5-6 meals in the day. Include high protein foods in your diet. Your protein intake should be from foods rather than from supplements. Good protein foods: beans, soybeans, whey, fish, dairy products (low fat variety), meats, nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), peanut butter. Many of these are easy digestible foods. Milk is one of the best muscle foods. The milk contains two high quality proteins, about 80 percent whey and 20 percent casein. Whey is quickly broken down into amino acids and absorbed into the bloodstream. Whey is very good to consume after workout. Casein is digested more slowly and provides the body with a steady supply of protein for a longer period of time. Cheese is concentrated milk, so it is high in protein and calcium, fat and cholesterol. Include healthy skim yogurt in your diet, which can give you as much as 120 calories.----------- 2. Eat custard apple (saripa, sitaphal) to put on some weight. This fruit is high in calorie.------------- 3. Healthy fats: avoid fatty foods. Most mothers, especially in india give too much ghee or butter to their children, thinking they will put flesh fast. But ghee is mostly saturated fat which is not a healthy fat for any body. Healthy fats are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. Good fats: cold pressed oils (olive, sunflower, linseed, canola).---------- 4. Drink pure fruit juice. It is full of sugar and added nutrients so it is a healthy and nutritious way to gain some pounds.----------- 5. Complex carbohydrates are also needed for gaining weight. Corn bread is also full of carbohydrates, one piece gives approximately 328 calories. Potatoes are rich sources of carbohydrates and complex sugars, eat baked or as grilled potatoes. Pasta is a calorie rich cereal carbohydrates.----------- 6. Eat bananas. These are rich in carbs and nutritious, one banana contains approximately 100 calories.---------- 7. Some people think that drinking beer helps, but it is not true, it accumulates in your abdomen, making it fatty.---------- 8. Don't take protein supplements for gaining muscles. ------------------------ 9. Non vegetarian foods--------- some of the non-vegetarian foods that help increase weight are given below:---- 1. Red meat ------ 2. Pork, ------ 3. Fish: eat two portions of salmon, or tuna every day.------- 4. Shrimps: the nutrients and necessary acid content present in shrimps gives healthy calories.- 5. Chicken breast chicken breast, is supposed to be the healthiest and non-fat part which has approximately 78 calories for each serving.-------- 6. Whole eggs: eggs are loaded with protein, vitamins a, d and e.--------

Not only toner ,you should practice a basic skin care routine of cleansing ,exfoliating, toning and moisturizing as well. Blackheads are hardened sebum, which blackens with exposure to air, and are embedded deep into the pores. These, if not taken care of could lead to pimples and acne. Deep pore cleansing is a must and one could do this after a slight massage using a gentle face scrub, such as 2 tsp of orange juice and 2 tsp of honey mixed with a pinch of camphor. The combination of orange juice, which is slightly acidic, and honey are good for oily skins. It is also important that you drink at least 10-12 glasses of water a day and maintain a well- balanced diet. This can be easily done at home. All you need to do is use a little imagination to toss up salads and fruits in delicious dressings so that you don’t get bored of them. Eat whole wheat chappatis and take lots of green vegetables like spinach, cabbage, beans, etc. If the problem still persists after using the home remedies ,take homeopathic treatment. The homeopathic medicines are natural and safe without any side effects. Consult online for the treatment.

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • use a mild moisturiser for your skin.

Hi, take complete bed rest. Consume high protein diet like sprouts, egg, soya, milk and milk products to regain the energy and strength which is lost due to the infection. Avoid spicy and oil fried food. Consume plenty of fluids. Take the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor for 10-14 days. Repeat the blood test after 15 days. Avoid outside food and fresh and hot home made food is preferred.

Social anxiety is the term used to portray an extreme state of shyness. Everyone feels on edge in certain social situations, yet for a few people it can be somewhat more extraordinary and overwhelming. For instance it might influence their decision to attend a university, do a certain job or even their love life to some extent. Situations where individuals regularly encounter social nervousness include:

  1. Public speaking
  2. Conversing with power figures
  3. Conversing with a gathering of individuals or a person
  4. Eating in broad daylight
  5. Any performance based circumstances

However, there are a few ways in which one can overcome social anxiety. These include:

  1. Getting rid of unhelpful thoughts: The way that we see or perceive things affects our social anxiety. A number of these musings happen outside of our control, and can be negative or unhelpful. It is hence essential to recollect that they are only thoughts, and are not really truths. Despite the fact that we may trust a ton of our unhelpful thoughts when we are socially anxious, we need to address them since they are generally built on wrong assumptions.
  2. Increasing external focus during social interactions: When we are socially on the edge, we have a tendency to invest a great deal of our energy in focusing on our own sensations. This is because we expect that our tension is noticeable to others. For instance, we may invest energy attempting to judge whether we are sweating, shaking, or blushing. This technique aggravates things even more. This is because we tend to overestimate how obvious our tension is and this obviously makes us feel much more unsure. Additionally, by concentrating on ourselves, we are kept from completely focusing on the discussions around us. This normally makes it even harder to participate and we wind up connecting less than we could or should have.
  3. Getting rid of avoidance and safety behaviours: When we are socially restless, we have a tendency to dodge social circumstances (e.g. parties; little gatherings, requesting a discount and so forth). In any case, if we continue maintaining a strategic distance from the situations we fear, we will never find the opportunity to explain to ourselves that we can handle them and our certainty stays low. At whatever point socially anxious people do enter the situations they fear, they tend to utilise safety practices (e.g. staying close to a good friend at a gathering; remaining silent when in a gathering to avoid looking absurd and foolish).

The most ideal approach to diminish your anxiety towards social circumstances is to continuously stand up to them, without depending on safety practices. Obviously, going up against social circumstances or situations can be overwhelming, particularly given that our anxiety levels frequently increase when we do so. Therapy can also be used to get over these tendencies. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychiatrist.

Hi Doctor, I have a skin problem in my left foot fingers. I wear socks everyday for more than 10 hours. Finger gets itchy, sometimes so itchy that it starts bleeding. I use cloben-g ointment sometimes, it gets fine when I use and reappears again after few days. This issue is there for more than 3 months now. Please provide a permanent solution.

it could be fungal. homoeopathic medicines to be taken internally will def. help. arsenic 200 to be taken 3 pills 3 times a day will def. help, available at any nearby homeopathic store. and if possible avoid wearing socks for a few days, once it gets dried up it will settle down. if u still have to use, use pure cotton socks.

Why headaches, you might ask?

That’s one of the most common problems that people face and the reason why they actually go to the doctor as well. Interestingly though, only one-third of the people actually get treatment for their headache. So when it comes to a headache, one of the most common types of headaches is called Migraine and a lot of people suffer from this migraine for years and years and years without realising that what they have is actually migraine, for which they can get treatment and they can feel better.

So what exactly is a migraine?

A migraine is, typically, a unilateral, a one sided, or a headache that happens on both the sides. It’s a thumping headache. People usually say that they feel a pounding pain. It is usually accompanied by nausea, light sensitivity – you do not like how the light makes you feel, noise sensitivity – even noise bothers you, and all you want to do is sit in a dark room and sleep.

So when it comes to a migraine, what are the different phases of it?

When there is a prodrome phase where you kind of start knowing the migraine is going to come on. You might feel very tired, very irritable. Then after that is the aura phase which not many people have. But some people describe flashing lights or some numbness in the hands. Followed by the headache phase which can last anywhere from four hours to seventy-two hours. Then after the pain goes away, there is a phase called the postdrome phase where you can actually feel exhausted and tired up to twenty-four hours even after a headache has gone away. So think about it, it can take up to at least two to three days at times for you to recover from one single migraine.

There are a lot of triggers of a migraine you can now about which includes lack of sleep, hunger, stress. Food triggers like red wine, chocolate, and many other triggers depending from person to person. But to know more about what you should do, you should talk to your doctor that you have a migraine.

Hello, the black corners of the mouth or black discolouration around mouth can be due to lip licking, vit. B2 deficiency, smoking, overexposure to sun or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. So, take some vit b12 supplements (like becosule) and avoid lip licking. You should apply a good lip balm and sunscreens with spf 30 atleast half an hour before going out in sun. Also, apply homoeopathic cream - medicynth's witch hazel over the affected area.
