Backacke can be due to numerous reasons like back strain, big tummy, slip disc, lumber spondylosis. For best treatment please send an x ray image & consult privately. Till then you can do following home remedies: 1) mix camphor in coconut oil and boil it. Massage it followed by hot fomentation. 2) have turmeric & honey milk. 3) put a hot-water bag on back supported by a cushion. 4) add ginger while brewing your tea 5) if you are overweight, go for weight loss program 6) stay away from cold, go for hot water baths.

Hot Fomentation x twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction. Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily Bhujang Asana x 15 timesx twice daily Core Strengthening Exercises. Back Stretching.

My mother is having a lot of nerve pain on thighs. Whenever she sits for a while and get up, the pain is so much that she stays a while and then gradually starts walking. She walks daily but it is not helping. Please suggest some home remedies for her.

Please do a x-ray of the lumbar spine. Do hot and cold compresses alternately Take Mag phos 6x -4 tabs thrice daily. Do not sit/stand for long at a stretch.

It requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I have severe knee pain and loss of sleepness. Can you give me a solution for this?
1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. 6. Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).

Hi I can understand your problem. For weight gain take healthy and balanced diet along with regular exercise. For leg pain. *take rest *increase fluid intake *gently stretch or massage your leg muscle. * apply heat to tight muscles or cold to tender muscles. * there are various treatment options in physiotherapy which depends on your health and severity of your symptoms. I am 33, healthy 78 kg, no drinks no smoke. I have medical anxiety. I now started exercise and good diet and feeling better. I did my blood tests. RA factor is 28.74 (it's high.) anti CCP is 7.4 (in normal range) -CRP 2.3 (normal) Clinically I feel burning on top of left thumb high burning sensation sometimes .also I feel pain in dorsal soft part of both hands just below last Ungli finger. My uric acid, urine tests, heamogram r in normal range. Only RA factor 28.74. Can this be problematic in future. Or any way I can control it at home naturally.

I am 54 years old. At present I am having B.P and taking medicine. I am having always, pains in legs arms back pains. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Sounds like sinusitis. Take frequent steam inhalation. Alternatively get your glasses checked. If eye is fine but headache doesn't subside, then get urself checked with an ENT.

For ankle pain what is and when is warm (warm water etc.) and when is cold (ice) sake is recommended and why.

Cold fomentation is recommended for any fresh injury for the first week of injury, so that the vessels constrict and the blood that is leaking from the vessels is stopped and further spread of pain and swelling is contained. After the blood has clotted and healing started, hot fomentation opens up the vessels and helps in healing and prevents stiffness.

Due to muscle strain it s ok you doing running but a gud running you should to a gud strength in your legs so do strength exercise then you can run with out pain. At this movement tk muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation and immediate relief tk tens therapy best option for you.

U r sitting for longer duration for studies that may be the cause of backnpain. Avoid sitting for longer duration, take rest, your posture should be correct while you r sitting for studies. If your pain doesn't subside, pls visit orthopaedician.

Back pain in your situation can be most likely due to muscle strain. You should follow good posture habits. 1. Sit with straight back and change posture in between. Do not hunch and feet should rest on floor while seated. 2. Take breaks in between work and walk. 3. Take rest when back pain is severe but a void total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily. 5. Take simple painkillers like paracetamol if pain is persistent. 6. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 7. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. 8. If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling , numbness or weakness, consult your doctor immediately Don't worry such backaches resolve with proper care as advised above.

Tell me Are you taking Tablet Thyronorm? Thyroid function test was done? Neck pain may or may not be related to thyroid problem follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2.
