Some causes behind the dark circles are hereditary, aging, dry skin, prolonged crying, working for long hours in front of a computer, mental or physical stress, lack of sleep and an unhealthy diet. Hello lybrate-user, some tips to lose weight are 1.1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week. We also can plan your daily diet plans where you can achieve 4-5 kg weight loss in a month.

CONSTIPATION:is due to an incorrect lifestyle and irregular eating patterns, not taking enough fluids,sedentary lifestyle.Foods that are heavy and difficult to digest, as well as oily, spicy, fried, and junk foods are the culprits. Eating food in a disturbed atmosphere or in front of the television and being awake late at night all lead to bowel disturbance. Psychological factors like stress, anxiety, fear, jealousy, and sorrow also play an important role. DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVICE: Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful. Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day. Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts/daliya and Muesli in breakfast Avoid removing bran from the flour because it clears the intestines Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice,or high protein foods like cheese,meat and cold foods like ice cream or chilled drinks Take meals in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Only following diet plan may not be that effective, you need herbal supplements also, if like inform. See diet plan. Diet Plan Early Morning (6-7 Am): You can have any of the following items to start your day. A glass of lukewarm water with lemon juice, or Grape juice may add Honey one tea spoon. A cup of black or green tea without sugar but may add Gud-Jagery with or without skims milk, and 2 biscuits. Breakfast (8-9 am): One Oats-Yav or Jav or Ragi Roti or chapatti + ½ cup of water soaked whole Moog with garlic and Ardrak. Or one plate of Ragi upma and a cup of Tomato soup or Carrot juice, or Anar or Pine apple or Beet root. Lunch (1-2 pm): Brown Rice (200 grams) + ½ cup mixed vegetables + one small bowl of Raitha or Butter milk + vegetable salad Onion, Carrot, Tomato, Beet root, Khira etc. Instead of Brown Rice one may have two Rotis of Yav-Jav-Oats Aata or wheat Aata + Isabgole 10 gm mixed Roti Evening (4-5 pm): Butter Milk 1 glass or Coconut water or Grapes 20-30, or other seasonal fruits or Murmura, Dinner (8-9 pm): 2 - Chapattis or Rotis + 1 bowl of Vegetable Soup + 1 bowl of salad-Onion, Carrot, Tomato, Radish, Khira etc. OR one bowel of brown rice (200 gm).

Wait for 4 -5 days more and then repeat the test. Sometimes you may have delayed periods due to delayed ovulation. If test shows negative after 5 days then can take medicine for withdrawal.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Some patients need more core strengthening while others benefit mainly from stretching and improving flexibility. Please consult a Orthopedic Physiotherapist for the right exercise plan. Best wishes.

Hi, I am 41 years old male, DM 2 from last 12 yrs. In past Dr. Suggest me to take 12 units of lantus. I had taken that too. Now I had started cycling for around 60 minutes, at least 5-6 days in week and stopped lantus. Now my recent levels are 140 and 185 Fasting and PP. Is it ok to stop lantus? My last Hba1c was 8.2. Please advice.

These are the causes of hair fall: •Acute illness (Typhoid, Malaria, Viral Fever) • Stress • Due to medicines (Anticancer drugs, Radiation therapy) • Due to under nutrition • Use of chemical products (Hair dyes, Hair gels, Bleaching) • Due to pollution For prevention of hair fall follow these instructions: • Do not take A lot of stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation to destress yourself. You can do Pranayams or take long deep breaths whlie closing your eyes I a peaceful environment for at least 8-10 minutes. • Add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs.. • To reduce hairfall and whitening of hairs, Practice Yogasana like Shirshasana and Sarwangasana only under the guidance of Expert. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. No one exactly knows the reason for greying of hairs. Diabetes is not directly associated with greying. Take care of your diet. Have lots of fruits, soaked almonds, sprouts and wlanut. Exercise regularly to reduce free radical damage. This may help but not completely.
