How can I increase my height iam 21 years old and iam just 4.6 feet only please give a better solution.
Dear, there are methods by which you can gain height. Do these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. * firststand bare foot on flat surface, now move your heels upwards and raise your arms up. Start walk on the front part of feet with heels upwards. Walkatleast 8-10 steps. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times in a day. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. You can also adopt the surgical techniques which helps you gaining desired height.

High blood suagr and pressure can cause changes in kidney. Think of it like the holes of the filter are bif and protiens are leaking out into the urine. He will need to control both sugar and pressure very fast and keep it maintained in normal levels.

Dieting Hard? 5 Negative Aspects You Must Consider!

MBBS, D.P.H & H, DFW & CH
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
Dieting Hard? 5 Negative Aspects You Must Consider!

Eating right and exercising are key to healthy weight loss. In no case should you ever consider crash dieting or any form of extreme diets. There are many different types of diets popular today. The most common side effect of dieting is that in most cases weight loss stops the moment a diet is stopped and the individual begins to put on weight instead. Here are a few other after effects of dieting.

  1. Tiredness: Most diets are centred around limiting your food intake. As a result of this, the body has less food available to convert into energy. This also causes a drop in blood sugar levels. As a result of this, you may find yourself tiring easily and with less energy to go about your normal day.
  2. Mood changes: Fluctuating blood sugar level can also make you feel irritable and depressed. Limiting your food intake can make you crave food which further adds to your irritability. By cheating on your diet with a sugar laden snack you may cause further fluctuation of insulin levels. This can be seen in the form of temporary elation.
  3. Slow metabolism: The body needs a certain calorific amount to function. When this is not available, it will turn to stored fat reserves and slow down the rate of metabolism. This can lead to a loss of muscles instead of fats and even stall your weight loss. This is commonly seen in cases of extreme weight loss.
  4. Loose skin: Dieting only addresses the fat underneath your skin. As you put on weight, your skin stretches to accommodate the gained pounds. Hence, losing a lot of fat can leave you with loose skin and sagging folds. This usually occurs on the upper arms and abdomen. The amount of loose skin left depends on the speed of weight loss, the amount of weight lost and your age. In this case, exercise does little to help and the only way to tackle the loose skin is through plastic surgery.
  5. Gallstones: When you cut down on the fat quotient of your diet, your gall bladder does not contract as often. In many cases, this can lead to the concentration of bile which further leads to the development of gall stones. These gall stones can be quite uncomfortable and can cause a stomach ache as well. To avoid this, do not cut out fats completely, but include a few healthy fats in your diet. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

Its about my hair? I am loosing my hair so quickly I tried many kind of shampoo but nothing effects what should I do?
Hello, first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. *eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. *include more protein rich supplements to your diet. *take phosphorus 200, 5 drops, morning empty stomach, once in week. *wiesbaden 200, 5 drops, daily morning empty stomach. *apply arnica hair growth oil (b &t) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. *wash hair with arnica montana herbal shampoo (sbl) *drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. *take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, daily morning. Use this home remedy also to prevent hair loss:- *triphala is the boon for dead cells of the scalp; it works to recover all the problem related to damaged and graying of hair. Take a teaspoon of triphala powder with water before sleeping. You will get rid from white hair as well as hair fall. *onion is also an effective home treatment for hair loss and premature graying. How to relax our mind. Tension free stress free, I am a student .but I can't control my anger please help.

How to relax our mind. Tension free stress free, I am a student .but I can't control my anger please help.
Hi Lybrate user, For stress relief you can try all these steps. When it comes to short-term methods, I think the best ones are: Sports - physical exercise raises endorphin levels, which makes us happier. Eating something tasty - raises dopamine levels, which makes us happier. Doing things you love - such as going to the movies or spending time with friends, relaxing. Talking to people - share your concerns and stress with you dearest friends, but make sure they are willing to listen to it. Because we are social animals, communicating to others in difficult times really helps. When it comes to long-term, I would say: Meditation - it has been the biggest game changer for me. Its effects don’t come within a day, but when they do, you will notice how dealing with stress has just become so much easier. You will also have your own quiet place to go to. Understanding and awareness - one of the most effective weapons against stress is awareness. You have to understand that life should not be stressful. Don’t take studies, work or other as the most important things in life. See them for what they are. Don’t forget to stop, analyse your thoughts and understand why you are feeling the way you are. You should do this daily or whenever you feel overwhelmed. When you do come to the conclusion that it is all just a game, stress will lose its grip on you. FOR ANGER YOU CAN TRY ALL THESE STEPS. In the short run, Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're angry. Stop what you're doing, get away from whatever is irritating you, and just take a breather. Breathe deeply, from your diaphragm; breathing from your chest won't relax you. Picture your breath coming up from your "gut. Slowly repeat a calm word or phrase such as "relax, "take it easy. Repeat it to yourself while breathing deeply. Use imagery; visualize a relaxing experience, from either your memory or your imagination. Ask for the support of someone you trust. If you're still upset, sharing your concerns with a close friend or confidant might help. Try to see some humor in what angered you. After you've calmed down and established that you're ready to get over the incident, try to see the lighter side. In the long run, Do some physical exercises. The endorphins from exercise can help you calm down, and moving your body provides a physical outlet for your rage. Cognitive restructuring - Ask yourself honestly if you see everyone and everything as an adversary or an obstacle. Odds are, the world isn't exactly that way - but you think it is. Change the way you think about life. Keep a journal of what upsets you and how you plan to fix it. Lastly, if all else fails, visit a mental health professional. THANK YOU ALL THE BEST.

Hi lybrate-user, A healthy weight-gain diet should take into account your calorie needs. You'll need to take in slightly more than you burn each day to gain weight, but not so many excess calories that you're packing on lots of fat. A moderate calorie surplus -- about 250 to 500 extra calories daily -- is best for sustainable weight gain. Enjoy a generous breakfast to kick off your calorie intake for the day. Fill a three- or four-egg omelet with your favorite veggies, along with cheese for extra calories. Or make a weight-gain-friendly parfait from Greek yogurt, mixed frozen berries and granola or chopped almonds, drizzled with a little honey for a touch of natural sweetness. Spread a slice or two of whole-wheat toast with mashed avocado and a pinch of sea salt, or top your toast with all-natural almond butter and sliced bananas for a sweeter meal. If you still need more calories, drink a glass of whole milk or 100-percent juice to reach your goal. There are a lot of options that you can use as a chewing tobacco alternative such as nicotine gum, herbal snuff, sun flower seeds and even sugarless gum. For those of us that use tobacco straight out of bed, and consume more then a few dips a day are more likely to benefit from a nicotine replacement method. Most nicotine replacement methods allow you to steadily decrease your nicotine intake making it easier to adjust and less likely to lash out at friends or family. Of course the best decision is the decision to quit cold turkey and leave tobacco for good. Chewing tobacco alternatives can be found in supermarkets, drugstores and are as simple as straws, hard candy or even tooth picks. You can preoccupy yourself by eating some sunflower seeds or using an herbal snuff so that you can deviate your mind from reaching for a can of dip.

I am 60 years old suffering from Diabetic retinopathy. Is this curable by ayurvedic treatment?
Me lybrate-user, Diabetic retinopathy can only be controlled. There's no cure. It is absolutely essential to achieve strict blood glucose control so that it doesn't get bad. Plus depending upon whether it is Non proliferative or proliferative the retinal specialist will decide on right treatment. So please consult a very competent retinal specialist. Ayurveda has no treatment for this. Please do not listen to any such advise. I wish you early recovery. Thanks.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 24 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. If you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik One thing I don't understand is how is this pair of glasses affecting your carrier? There are people in all fields who use glasses. please don't get disheartened.
