I am suffering from heat in my body, water drops from eyes what can I do for solve this problem?
Hello lybrate-user. The commonest cause for watering of the eyes is allergy. You should KNOW YOUR EYE ALLERGY first. •There are various EYE ALLERGIES TRIGGERS: A person can be allergic to: Pollen from grasses, weeds, and trees. These are the most common kinds of eye allergies and are called SEASONAL ALLERGIC CONJUNCTIVITIS. •Dust, pet dander, and other indoor allergens. These eye allergies last year-round and are called CHRONIC (PERENNIAL) CONJUNCTIVITIS. •Makeup, perfume, or other chemicals can trigger eye allergies called CONTACT CONJUNCTIVITIS. •An allergy to contact lenses, called GIANT PAPILLARY CONJUNCTIVITIS, makes eyes sensitive and red. Just like any other allergic reaction, they are caused by a MISFIRING OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, the body's natural defense mechanism. It releases HISTAMINE, a chemical that causes swelling and inflammation. Symptoms to Watch For •Red, irritated eyes •Itchiness •Tearing or runny eyes •Swollen eyelids •Soreness, burning, or pain •Sensitivity to light Usually you’ll also have other allergy symptoms, such as a stuffy, runny nose and sneezing. DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES FOR GRANTED! Protect your sight with these six tips: 1. Eat for Good Vision 2. Quit Smoking 3. Wear Sunglasses / helmets to shield your eyes from dust, sunlight, pollution 4. Wash your eyes 3-4 times a day 5. Look Away From the Computer Screen at regular intervals 6. Avoid rubbing your eyes with fingers/ cloth/ shirt/ dupatta, etc. Everyone, even young children, should get their eyes examined regularly. It helps you protect your sight and see your best. It would also enable the doctor to diagnose any other problem in the eye. Take care-regards

Dear Doctor,
Kindly help me. I have amnliyopia lazy eye in my right eye. I am 50 year old male. 4 months before I had...
Amblyopia or Lazy eye occurs because the quality of image in one eye was not good during the phase of visual development in the first 10 years of life. Treatment hence is possible in first 10 years of life and in some cases upto 18-20 years. Hence in terms of visual gain, nothing much may be possible. Since you have high computer usage follow instructions to prevent computer vision syndrome, 20-20-20 rule and palming. Also, some of the eye disease run in the family. Will strongly recommend a routine eye evaluation for all children in your family to detect and timely treat refractive error or squint if present.

1. Does having diabetes mean that I am at higher risk for other medical problems? 2. Should I start seeing other doctors regularly, such as an eye doctor? 3. How often should I test my blood sugar, and what should I do if it is too high or too low? 4. Are there any new medications that I could use to help manage my diabetes? 5. Does diabetes mean I have to stop eating the foods I like best? 6. How can exercise make a difference in my diabetes? 7. If I'm overweight, how many pounds do I have to lose to make a difference in my health? 8. Are my children at increased risk for the disease? 9. What is the importance of diet in diabetes? 10. Do I need to take my medications even on days that I feel fine?

Mr. Lybrate-user, your questions make a big list, answering each of them in detail will be too much for me. Still I will clarify certain points. 1) having diabetes does make a person susceptible to many other diseases like cardiac problems, hypertension, kidney diseases, nervous system problems and eyes. 2) a person with diabetes has to get his or her eyes examined once a year for retinal involvement plus any other problem. 3) blood sugar testing should be more often initially (daily 2 or 3 times). Later when condition is stabilised, once in 2 - 3 days, later once a week. Once if the sugar is in good control even once in 15 days is ok. Plus you have to check hba1c% every 3 to 6 months. 4) there are many new medications available now, depends on what treatment is currently on. 5) total dietary intake has to be restricted to a specific number of calories per day, depending upon ideal body weight, exercise and sugar level. Sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries to be avoided. 6) exercise increases glucose utilisation, reduces insulin resistance, burns calories, helps reduce weight, improves fitness and well being. 7) your bmi should be <23 kg/m2.8) t2 dm is a familial disease, children do get it but it is a preventable condition. 9) diet is important because that is the source for glucose, fat and proteins other nutrients. Excess glucose can aggravate diabetes. 10) medication is necessary on all days till one lives.

Hi
My problem is heart is paining upper side middle side lower side and back side at least 4 months and I am check on...
When all the reports related to heart are normal it is less likely to be cardiac. The cervical x ray shows involvement of nerve roots supplying areas on chest, back, shoulders, axilla etc hence the pain is most likely to be neuaralgia. Stretch your neck and avoid forward bending of neck. If needed a cervical collar may be used to prevent forward bending of neck. Do not use pillows below head and do not sit in or lie down in abnormal postures in sofas while viewing television. This will definitely help in reducing your pain.
