1) what is the medication to get periods a week early? How to exercise during your period

The question of whether or not a woman should work out or not when it is the time of the month is one that has been much talked about. Fluctuations in hormone levels that take place during the monthly cycle have a tremendous impact on the level of energy, stamina and the body's response to exercise. The likelihood of getting injured is also different during periods.

Exercising during your period has many positive impacts on the body. Each woman's ability to work out and her response to it are different and hence the workout routine you must adhere to can vary from person to person.

What are the benefits of working out during periods?

  •   exercising during periods can be effective in alleviating the symptoms that accompany your period at the time such as stress and anxiety.
  •   loss of body fluids through sweating while doing exercises significantly reduces bloating in the belly.
  •   exercising can also ensure that there is less cramping and heavy flow during periods.
  •   endorphins released during exercise functions as a natural painkiller for period pains.

What are the best ways of working out during periods?

Depending upon how your body responds to periods, suitable workout routines can vary from high-intensity training (hit) like running, cycling and heavy lifting to low intensity training (lit) like brisk walking and step aerobics.

Most women opt for light exercises during the first few days of the cycle and then gradually increase intensity, which is advisable for those who are not in the habit of regularly working out. Athletes and sportswomen who train all around the year take to high-intensity workouts that focus on core strengthening and cardio boost.

What exercises should be avoided during periods?

The only kind of workout that should be avoided during this time is yoga that involves any 'inverted pose' that requires a woman to perform partial or complete headstands. These poses negatively impact blood flow and can cause painful heavy bleeding.

Apart from that, when it comes to exercising during periods, the guideline is simple - if you can handle it, you should go ahead and do it.

This is in reference with my wife who survived a stroke in Sep 2015. She has shown good recovery since then but yet unable to speak and her movements are very slow, I want to know if CITICOLINE will be a helpful drug to expedite her recovery in terms of movement and speech. Hi, this is regard your wife, post stroke every patient generally have a good recover phase atleast till 6 months with or without treatment but when its paired with medicine and therapy the recovery looks better. Since you have not given any speech therapy, you may not see any major improvements like before, so you need to ask your neurophysician regard the stimulants which can enhance the development but also I recommend you visit a local speech language pathologist also called as speech therapist who would guide you to assist your wife with the speech outcome.

Hello Doctor, I am 25 year old female. I am pregnant (40 days as of today) and this s my first baby. I have done my blood test in fasting. My fasting Blood glucose is 101 mg and my sugar level after 2 hours of breakfast is 90 mg. Is that implies I am having sugar. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I'm papanna before marriage my wife having periods 2 or 3 months once, after marriage also continued same thing and she didn't get pregnancy also, please suggest what problem we are facing and any solution.

Irregular cycles are normal. They tend to occur irregularly due to fluctuations in hormonal status of the body. It may also happen in some diseases like thyroid disorders, ovulation disorders etc post marriage too the irregularity may persist in few. This is not abnormal. If you both are concerned, meet a local gynecologist. The treatment of irregular menses is dependent on many factors: whetehr you want to conceive or want to avoid pregnancy. From your query it seems that you are trying for a pregnancy. If you are having regular sexual activity, then you can give your self a whole year to conceive. If you do not conceive in a year, after regular sexual activity, then you may consult a gynecologist for helping you achieve a pregnancy. You may get your wife investigated for her irregular cycles by doing blood tests, hormone tests and sonography and get treated as per the reports.

Hi, I am 33 year old female, having 3 children, my youngest child is 9 years old. My question is that my monthly period is not on time, this time it has been 1 and half month completed but no period yet, am having coper T for last 10 years. Please advise what could be the reason?

Copper T for last 10 years, if it is the same one, then first do a pregnancy test. If negative, wait for another week to get spontaneous periods, if still its not coming, repeat the pregnancy test. If again negative, medicines can be given to get the periods. Once the periods are over, have Copper T replaced by a fresh one.

It is very simple, use a condom or else let her take a contraceptive pill within 72 hours(although it has hosts of side effects!)

Any other stronger cream than himcolin cream. Hope himcolin will not affect chances of pregnancy.

Let’s see what morning mistakes you must be making which have resulted in slow metabolism: -

1. Absence of Workout: Working is the easiest and best way of boosting your metabolism be it walking, running or cycling. All these activities result in sweating which helps in giving you desired results. Not doing any of these activities in the morning will ultimately slow down your metabolism.

2. Not eating fresh fruits and salads: Sometimes out of carelessness or lack of knowledge people do not take fresh fruits and salads which are very essential for boosting metabolism. Infact, you should make it a habit of taking fruits in the morning instead of taking parathas or heavy carb stuff.
