Dear lybrate user, you should immediately stop the medication for blood pressure. Regarding your problem of diabetes I fear that you may have become insulin dependant diabetic patient. In that case you should go for insulin injection. However, you could try homoeopathic uranium nit q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for one month. Check your blood sugar level after one month of medication. If you do not observe any decrease in your blood sugar level then you should go for insulin injection.

To lose weight you need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar. This helps immediately. Avoid processed food. The healthy weight loss diet should contain ample amount of vegetable with sufficient protein. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. Sample diet plan:- a) breakfast - russian salad with boiled eggs. B) lunch - cooked vegetable + 1 chapatti NutroActive brownXatta +salad +curd. C) snacks - dry fruits and nuts with green tea or lemonade. D) dinner - paneer tikka or chicken tikka with green chutney Suggested supplements:- a) lipolyzer fat burning oil, massage on target area before going to work out and at night. These are the cause of whitening of hair: • Stress • Due to medicines • Due to nutrition • Use of chemical products • Due to pollution For prevention from whitening of hairs follow these instructions: • Do not take stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation or long breathing pranayams for 10 minutes daily to destress yourself. • You can apply amla powder, Make the paste of amla powder with water and apply it for 15 minutes once in week in afternoon and rinse it. • Avoid use of excess hair products such as hair colours and try to use mild shampoo. • Add protein containing items in your foods such as take a bowl of cereal daily, and a glass of milk also. You can eat cheese or soya protein. • Eat healthy fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. • you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can massage daily with oil it increase blood circulation and prevent hair whitening. •In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.

Hello, there is all likelihood that your water may have broken. The simplest way to differentiate is the smell of the liquid. If it has urine smell then it is urine else it is likely that your water broke. In that case report to your obstetrician immediately.

I am 23 year old, and have very bad asthma problem. Tried many sort of treatment but switched again back to inhalers. Was having problem of eczema & childhood which was treated through allopathic treatment at that time I didn't had asthma problem. But later after shifting to kerala my asthma problem started & used to take inhalers. Wen I was 17 I went for Ayurveda treatment with so much of restricted time table for certain food items for 2 year & I got better at initial stage I got all my allergy on my skin which so hard but doctor was saying thats to get cured with it. & only if I cure the inner allergy I would get better of asthma. I was so thin at that time & we I started curing asthma I also had put on my weight n was happy to get changed with better immunity. But suddenly I got a throat infection which really was under treated n he strictly advised not to take antibiotics which made it return frequently n I had developed a swelling on my leg n wen I went through a blood test I got aso titre so high. Which made me discontinue his treatment n I started taking pencillin400 n reduced d doses n now cured it completely but my asthma had returned severely. Then another blood test developed d problem of hypothyroidism. I started taking thyrox 150 n now d dose of 50. For this after 2 yrs I consulted a homeo doctor which was a nightmare for me as he said asthma is linked with thyroid problem n asked if I had any skin problem I said before I had he then prescribed some medicines n wid in a few days I got a bad itching on my fingers ful flare ups whole over my body oozing n weeping legs n hands I cant even sleep at night due to itching n that doctor was sounding angrily wen I saying my problem. N after 6 months also I dint cured n again went for an allopathic dermatologist n cured it. I just want to know if thyroid n asthma problem is linked n is it compulsory dat if I take treatment for asthma in Ayurveda or homeopathy I will have to face a tough time for my skin. Please doctors do reply. I really want to take your advice n go a head for treatment. Can hypothyroidism can b cured. N asthma also with out a flare ups n allergy break out?

In hypothyroidism:-- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consut doctor on time.

Gain weight healthily by eating 5-6 meals a day, even if they are slightly smaller than usual. Make sure each meal includes healthy, calorie-dense foods like nuts and full-fat dairy, as they will help you gain more weight without feeling too full. If you don’t feel like you can eat more, drink liquid calories like 100% juices or smoothies because, since they tend to be less filling than food, they allow you to consume more calories overall. Eat healthy foods that are calorie-dense. When you're trying to gain weight it's important to maximize the amount of calories you can consume with each meal and snack. Calorie-dense foods are items that are high in calories per serving.Consume these foods with each meal and snack. Calorie dense foods to incorporate into your diet include: nuts and nut butters, avocados, full-fat dairy products (cheese, yogurt and milk), butter and oil, and eggs. Also use full-fat condiments like regular mayonnaise, full-fat cream cheese or full-fat salad dressings. Not all high-fat foods are healthy or appropriate to eat more frequently or in larger quantities. Minimize these foods: fast food, deep fried foods, candy, and high-fat processed meats (bologna or hot dogs). If you're eating multiple times throughout the day, you may feel more full. This may lead to smaller meals instead of several large meals. Even when meals/snacks are small, if they are calorie dense, they can help induce weight gain. Add extra calories to meals and recipes. In addition to eating more calorie dense foods, you can also increase calories in your favorite meals and recipes. Adding extra foods or using higher calorie ingredients in your recipes is an easy way to bulk up your total calories. The more of a caloric punch you can add to meals, the more calories you'll consume over a given day and week. In recipes, use full-fat dairy products or dried milk in soups, stews or casseroles calling for water. Drizzle extra olive oil or add an extra pat of butter to salads, steamed vegetables, soups and casseroles. Top lower calorie foods with high-calorie toppings. For example, top whole milk yogurt with nuts and granola or top your salad with full-fat shredded cheese and sunflower seeds. Perform strength training activities. Strength training can aid in your weight gain. As you build lean muscle mass, you may notice your weight increases. This is highly important when attempting to gain weight. Many people do not realize that exercise is crucial to weight gain, just as it is to weight loss. Strength training activities include: weight lifting, isometric exercises (push-ups or crunches) and Pilates. Strength training does burn calories, just not as many as aerobic activities.
