What are the precautions taken for making normal delivery after first delivery as sisserian or other?

MBBS, DGO, MD, Fellowship in Gynae Oncology

There and no such precaution for that. it depends on position of baby, scar thickness, pelvis outlet and other factors. If your pregnancy is doing fine then you can ask your gyne. if she suggest for some exercise you can do. do not do any such exercise without your doctors advice as it may harm you or the baby.

Briefing On Infertility

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Noida

Hi, I am Dr Greeshma, I am consulting physician in VCC Ayurveda. So today I am going to speak about infertility, what is infertility. Infertility according to WHO is the inability of the couple to conceive after having regular intercourse for a period of 1 year. So, who all dependent like there are equal chances for male and female and it can happen in both the couples’s infertilite, in some cases. So the main causes for infertility in females are like PCOD then uterine fibroids, endometriosis then hormonal imbalance due to stress or due to hypertension, diabetes. In males, it can be due to low sperm motility or low sperm count or due to lot of stress in work again hypertension and diabetes can also be factors. So what we do here in VCC for infertility is. In Ayurveda there are 4 things which are very much important for conception namely Rutu, Kshetra, Ambu, Beeja, so, Rutu is the climatic condition inside the uterus of a female and the uterus itself is a important factor for conception then Ambu is the nourishment which has to be provided for the foetus and Beeja, Beeja is the sperm in male and over in female which is important for conception. So there should be main important sins given for both physical and mental health of both the partners. So there are various treatments in Ayurveda which we do, so namely like first, Virechana can we administer in the patient followed by Basti and uttar basti and then few medications that is therapeutic diet is given to the patient. So in Virechana a particular amount of medicated ghee is given for 4 to 5 days and then snehana, snehana is medicated oil is used and the whole oil is applied over the body in 7 different posture followed by sudation therapy. So in sedation the patient is made to sweat profusely so that whatever veshitted doshas or toxin is there it will come to the GIT and from there a treatment called as Virechana it is done, so that the medicated ghee or avleha or medicated churan is given so that the patient will start Pagination. So what happens is all these procedurse helps in detoxification of the body and there is also stress, a very important factor which can leave to infertilities, so we have treatments like Shirodhara which will helps in relaxing the body. So within going to like so many painful treatments like IVF or having some hormonal therapies in allopathy which will have a lot of side effects a couple can always approach first in Ayurveda. As we have very good treatment here in Ayurveda, so I suggest to all the viewers and I highly recommend Ayurveda for any queries or any consultation you can contact me on Lybrate. Thank you.

Dear lybrate user, it appears that she takes hormonal tablets for stopping the menses and stops taking the drug once the period stops. Hormonal tablets are not meant to be stopped once the menses stops. They are for continuous usage for about 21 days. Once the course get completed and the drug is stopped the bleeding usually starts 2 days after stopping the drug.

Lybrate is very helpful portal. Thanks to each and every doctors who made this portal so helpful. I had vaginal exposure with a call girl last month. After 01 day I got mild fever. I got my blood tested. It was malaria. I took medicine for 3 days. But fever not gone bt malaria negative. I took paracetamol next day evng. After that I have two fever blisters on my lips. (It is common for me to appear such 1-2 blisters after fever). But these blisters increased between my lower lip and chin and one on left cheek (when blister appear on left cheek, firstly it looks like if mosquito has bitten there). They may be 6, 7 or 8 in count. There was no pain and no puss in them. after that I took no medicine and they disappear on their own in 1 week. I am fearful that it may be oral herpes. Pls help whether it is herpes or not. If herpes, may I able to marry or not. Is herpes spread by shaking hands with friends as it is very contagious.

Internal Medicine Specialist, Kendujhar
Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned it is cold sore HSV-1 and it can spread from person to person by close contacts, such as kissing so discuss with your treating Doctor about prescription antiviral like Acyclovir and you can marry without any problem. Follow lifestyle modification like this when you have blisters present- 1) Avoid skin-to-skin contact with others while blisters are present. The virus spreads most easily when there are moist secretions from the blisters. 2) Avoid sharing items. Utensils, towels, lip balm and other items can spread the virus when blisters are present. 3) Keep your hands clean. When you have a cold sore, wash your hands carefully before touching yourself and other people, especially babies. Hope that helps.

Menopause - How You Can Manage It Naturally?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Ahmedabad

Menopause is one of the most significant transitions in the life of a woman. While it is a natural process, it often entails a lot of discomfort and re-adjustment. A woman’s body undergoes a lot of hormonal changes, it is therefore essential to maintain a healthy sociological and physiological ambience around the woman to minimize the distress that can potentially arise in times like these. During menopausal changes, the body tends to amass a lot of impurities.

Ayurveda recommends specific diet plans and lifestyle decisions to ease out the transition. Ayurvedic methods are aimed at reducing the enormous emotional stress that a woman is likely to endure during these times. Some of the practices that can mitigate the anxiety caused by menopause have been enlisted below:

  1. Balanced Diet: Having the necessary nutrients in the rightful quantity is extremely necessary to soothe the menopause induced agitations and trauma. Ayurveda recommends that you avoid food items that trigger off indigestion problems. Extremely salty and sour foods as well as spicy and oily foods can prove to be detrimental for you during menopause. Dressings and condiments like ketchup and mustard are known to not resonate well with the digestive system when your body is undergoing hormonal changes. Ideally, you must follow an astringent diet. Food items which are sweet and bitter to taste have benefiting properties. Wheat based foods as well as sweetened dairy products are extremely favorable. You may also look at leafy vegetables for purifying the system from within and acting as a rich source of protein. One of the most foremost guidelines to follow during menopause is the increased intake of water.

  2. Lifestyle Choices: To facilitate an easy transition of the bodily systems, you need to advocate certain conscious lifestyle changes as well. It is important to adapt to a healthier way of living so as to avert any physiological consequence of menopause. You need to get sufficient amount of sleep in the course of a day. Sleep rejuvenates and refreshes the body for a healthy mechanism and provides the requisite amount of rest. Hot oil massages can also prove therapeutic during menopause and palliate pains and irritations that are likely to occur in such times. A timely intake of the meals is yet another mandatory routine that you must follow to battle the menopausal discomforts. Finally, Ayurveda recommends regular exercising for leading a happy and healthy life ahead.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
