How Homeopathy Helps Treat Erectile Dysfunction?

If you cannot get an erection or if your erection isn't firm enough for sex, then you are suffering from Erectile Dysfunction (ED). If the troubles are persistent, then it is a serious cause of concern. You can take a look at the symptoms of ED listed here:

1. Symptoms

a. You find it troublesome getting an erection or keeping one firm enough for sex.

b. Your sexual desire is reduced and along with it, you experience other sexual problems which might include ejaculatory dysfunction.

2. Causes

a. There can be physical causes, like:

b. If you are a heavy drinker, then you have cause for concern.

c. There can also be psychological causes, like:

  • If you are suffering from depression or anxiety, then that is a probable cause for the disorder.
  • Relationship problems might also lead to problems which extend to ED.

3. Treatment

a. An efficient way of treating ED is homeopathy. This includes mainly two ways in which homeopathy can be used to address the disorder:

  • By using Agnus Castus: Agnus Castus is a top remedy for erectile dysfunction and is essential especially when the patient lacks sexual desire, or physical power required for sex.
  • By using Lycopodim: It is especially beneficial for people with an enlarged prostate and for old and young irrespectively.
  • By using Caladium: Caladium is the required deep-acting agent required when the condition is acute. In these cases, when erection is either not possible or not firm enough for sex, it is imperative that caladium is used as it tackles the problem at a much deeper level.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Suffering From Cold? Try These Remedies!!

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Suffering From Cold? Try These Remedies!!

Common cold can be defined as a viral infection affecting one’s upper respiratory tract (throat and nose) characterized by mild fever, sneezing, body aches and headaches, congestion, cough, sore throat, runny nose and a general feeling of being unwell. It takes around 10 days to recover completely from the sickness. Although there is no treatment as such for common cold, however, few remedies might ease the symptoms.

  1. Stay Hydrated: Lemon and honey mixed with lukewarm water, in addition to clear chicken broth, works therapeutically on congestion or dehydration. However, refrain from caffeinated sodas, coffee and alcohol; beverages that can aggravate dehydration.

  2. Rest: Your body requires time to heal. Therefore, sufficient rest should be the utmost priority.

  3. Soothe your Sore Throat: A saltwater gargle early in the morning can bring great relief for your throat. Hard candy, lozenges and sore throat sprays can be used as alternatives if you cannot gargle properly.

  4. Sip on Something Warm: Nothing feels better than a hot clear chicken soup when you are down with fever. It works wonderfully on the sore throat. Other warm beverages such as tea or a cup of warm clove juice helps to improve nose and throat congestion by easing the mucous flow.

  5. Take Medications: Pain relievers, antihistamines (drugs to treat allergies) and decongestants might contribute to some relief. Nevertheless, these over-the-counter medicines cannot prevent or cure cold entirely.

What not to consider as remedies?

  1. Antibiotics: Antibiotics help fight bacterial infections and are hence, not as effective against viral infections, the main contributor towards common cold.

  2. Cold medications for children below 6: Over-the-counter drugs may have life-threatening consequences for children below the age of 6. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

How to Tell If Sweating Is Normal or Excessive

You might not be sure if your sweating is normal or excessive. If you are concerned, the following factors can help you to decide if to see a doctor:

You experience excessive sweating that has occurred for at least six months without an apparent reason

Your sweat occurs on both sides of your body in roughly the same amount

You have incidents of excessive sweating at least once a weekyour sweating interferes with your daily activities

You started sweating excessively when you were younger than 25 years old

You do not sweat in your sleep

You have a family history of hyperhidrosis

These factors might indicate that you have primary focal hyperhidrosis. You?ll need to see a doctor for a more accurate diagnosis.

Sweating all over or excessively in one area might indicate that you have secondary generalized hyperhidrosis. It?s important to see your doctor to find out the underlying cause.

Some conditions associated with excessive sweating can be serious. Make sure to let your doctor know if you are experiencing any other unusual symptoms along with sweating.
